  1. Site URL: https://chloe-chow-template.squarespace.com/ Hello everyone, I am almost done finish my template. Just checking my website homepage under different conditions. https://chloe-chow-template.squarespace.com/ pw: creativegrind 1. I am not sure when but WITHOUT a mouse I cannot navigate my homepage, even with the scroll bar enable. I have found some horizontal website which can be visited on desktop using the keyboard. I keep looking at different topic but I don't understand what function or code I should use. Javascript ? I literally have no idea what this code would look like. https://canals-amsterdam.nl/ https://bonjour.paris/en I have enable the scrollbar that was hidden to help users navigate but my horizontal scroll doesn't work as well ... Any idea, ressources, courses I could look to learn how to achieve this under squarespace? My javascript knowledge are very low, and I am struggling to apply what I am reading onto squarespace. I feel a bit blind. 2. On tablet (landscape) the horizontal touch scroll function does not work which is confusing because on vertical page I can use my fingers to scroll up and down but not left and right on the homepage ... I have looked at horizontal squarespace code being sold online and after inspecting it on different designs ... these codes also does not work in the cases above. Let me know what you think, any ressources are more than welcome ! I am totally lost on where to look to solve that problem Manon

  5. Hey @creedon Also digging into this old topic 😂 I am going crazy at the moment. I am testing out the snap function on this horizontal layout and it's not working ... https://polygon-chipmunk-y896.squarespace.com/home?noredirect pw: creativegrind I would like my scroll to snap at the end of the second section. I have tried the html code vertically and it worked. I fixed the y into x for my horizontal scroll and it didn't snap. thus I am following an another tutorial .horizontal-snap { overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: auto; /*scroll*/ overscroll-behavior-x: contain; scroll-snap-type: x mandatory; -ms-scroll-snap-type: x mandatory !important; } .horizontal-snap > h1 { scroll-snap-align: end !important; } still not working. I wanted to try the scroll snap alignment on horizontal website, but I also wanted to find a solution for my website which is horizontal & vertical scrolling. As you can see my second section is vertical scrolling ... and the section start to scroll down if I am scrolling and my mouse is already on the section. I want to make sure user reach the END of the section, so that the horizontal scrolling stop and the vertical scrolling start. What do you think ? Cheers !
  6. Site URL: https://clementine-octagon-lg3h.squarespace.com/home Hey, I am finishing off a website but I am struggling with a code / overall flow. https://clementine-octagon-lg3h.squarespace.com/home password: creativegrind I have two problems: 1. The philosophy section scroll vertically, however if my mouse hover on the section while I am still scrolling horizontally, the section will start to scroll vertically. I would like to be able to scroll vertically until I reach the right edge / the end of the philosophy section. Make the horizontal scrolling stop, start scrolling vertically and when I reach the bottom of this section start the horizontal scroll again a bit like a "Z". Is there a javascript code that can translate " when user reach the end of "x section", vertical scroll will be activated ? 2. I have notice tonight, I can only scroll horizontally using my mouse. Can I access the left & right arrow key to scroll as well using a javascript code ? I have researched and try several code but it's not reaction 😕 Thanks Manon
  7. @tuanphan Oh my ... ! Thanks a lot, it works perfectly ! I can't believe I spent hours trying to figure out/find the code. Have a great Sunday, you rock 👊 PS: Also agree, the gold color for desktop color is not an option. I prefer the focus to be on the drawing/images ! I am gonna monitor the website performance to see if those dark colours still works on visitors / clicking behaviours. Manon
  8. Hello Everyone ! I am reaching out because I am a bit stuck on some little coding tweak. I already went through the forum but the answers I found do not really work. Here is my issue: I have the pro version of Squarespace which allow me coding. I have a website (Brine template) with an english/french version and on both version I created a event calendar page. In order to have my logo color to pop-out and keep up with my branding / visual identity, I added a green background to that calendar page. Desktop / Tablet version: It's looking good as a small image is displayed on the day I m running a class/event. Mobile version: There is no image displayed, fair enough, however with that green color, I cannot really see the days there is an event. My idea is to: When there is an event schedule I want to change the color of the square from that weird light green color to a gold color, numbers would be in white. So on the mobile version, an event would be displayed like that : The entire square would be gold & the date displayed in white. What code shall I insert ? Shall I insert it in the advance option custom css of my page? Here are some pictures of the calendar on the desktop & mobile. Here is the link to my website www.qualitycupofcoffee.com PS: Don't mind, I have been working on it on the last few days, the videos banners seems to be loading slower than usual. I still need to have a look at it. Many thanks ! Manon
