@Eleln It is maddening but glad you found this! Unplugging the tablet or working in Safari have been my only options so far. Wacom gave me lots of help but nothing worked. Squarespace just said what they always say "we're working on a fix for this." Drivers, updating privacy>accessibility settings, nothing worked.
Apparently this is similar to touchscreen issues they're having, but not sure if they're making any progress. Good luck!

VERY SIMPLE to turn text into bullets it turns out! All you have to do in an accordion description is type the asterisk and the spacebar, and voila! You have a bullet. The subsequent text is automatically bulleted as usual.

@lh-cl-2021 It is so frustrating! Mine won’t work on any websites in my account, and my husband is experiencing the same thing—different computer, account and websites but also using Wacom Intuos. Updating the driver didn’t work for us. Spent an hour on the phone with Wacom yesterday testing different fixes including editing Privacy> Accessibility settings, but nothing helped.
 
Squarespace says this is along the lines of issues they’re seeing with some touchscreens and are working on a fix, but it’s impossible to get any more info. Will keep you posted with any updates!

Hey all, I've figured out that it's only a bug with the fluid engine. Until they fix it, what you can do is create a new section just for your accordion needs. if you scroll down the section templates though, at the bottom there is a link for classic editor templates. 
If you use the classic editor just for the section that you want to use the accordion in, it wont expand your content beside it.

I just ran into this bug. I did go to the customer care and relayed the issue to the engineering team via chat.  Its a bit odd this got through QA. I makes the block unusable 

When I reported it to Squarespace, their response suggested they do not consider it a bug. They said they would relay my feedback to the design team, but they didn't use the typical language I have seen from them in the past when acknowledging bugs and saying they are working on a fix. They didn't fix it in advance because they didn't see it as a problem. Therefore, everyone reading this post who thinks it is a problem should submit a support ticket! If they don't know we hate it, they will never fix it!

At this point in time, I've not seen any fix for the known problem. When the accordion block expands an item it stretches the grid at that point on the page which is always above your second block of text on the left, and that grid stretching opens up the gap.
You can see others talk about this here, but no solution:
I suggest that you report the problem to Squarespace and hope they fix it. In the meantime I suggest that if you have an accordion block, that you don't have the top of another block lower than the top of the accordion block. So maybe in your design leave space to the right of "Self-healing = Real healing." and align the top of the accordion to the same row as the text block on the left ("While classical Chinese medicine....").

For others experiencing the issue where the Save button doesn't dropdown after making edits, my husband and I were both experiencing this with various different sites on separate computers and boiled it down to a conflict with using our Wacom tablets (instead of mouse or trackpad) to operate Squarespace in Chrome or Firefox. Save button does not appear when using tablet, but Save button functions normally while using trackpad. Driver update didn't work, not sure what the solution is now but hope this helps someone else avoid wasting tens of hours like I have!

Are people still having this issue? Has anyone found a workaround? I am experiencing it today for the first time and it's incredibly frustrating. The Done dropdown just doesn't work to expand and show Save, so to exit the page I have to refresh or close, losing all changes. I'm using Chrome and have done all of the troubleshooting recommendations. Seems to work with Safari, but I would love to continue using Chrome.

While I know these comments may not be monitored, when chatting with Support, they were grateful that I referenced this thread to see others with the same issue.

When I expand an accordion (Adjunct Therapies section), the text block next to it also gets pushed down. Does anyone know how to fix this?

OH MY GOODNESS I have been losing my ever loving mind with this today. I had already restarted my computer, updated both browsers, fiddled with just about every setting i could think of. Then I thought there's just no way this is me?! Bless this thread because i was ready to fling myself into the ocean in despair LOL! I had about 20 blog posts to schedule for a site and nothing was working.  This is an absolutely silly issue to be encountering, but since it's the third glitch with the WACOM i've had today after an update it makes sense. If anyone finds the driver update/fix for this  let me know pleas pretty please! 🙂

@taylorwolfe @LanaiATX Curious if you have more info about how you solved this? The same thing is happening to me. I am wondering if it's custom code related and haven't been able to pinpoint the problem. Squarespace is also telling me they're working on it, but hard to know what is happening! I cannot save my work in Safari or Firefox.

I think you have cracked it as the Wacom tablet!!! I just unplugged mine and now it works - ridic!

On mine the whole header isn't disappearing, but the Save button does not drop down from the DONE after making edits.

OH MY GOD this is a nightmare for too since the new update - have tried 4 different browsers etc etc is DRIVING ME INSANE and support just say it's likely because of custom code but I cannot remove all the custom code from my client's site as it has quite a few salient pieces!!!!

@bangank36 Thanks! I have categories displaying, but also hoping to display tags. On the site you can see I use tags for the year, and I'd love for those to show as well on the list page since I'm not actually going to be utilizing the individual post pages. This is currently in trial but will eventually be a business plan.
