  1. Hi Daniel, you have not completed the installation steps. Please refer to the email that I have sent you.
  2. @dnmddy I'm just making a few adjustments to my website, it will be back online in a day or two.
  3. Yes, you are in the right place. The plugin has now been completely re-written using a different method to observe when an item is added to a users cart. The result is a much more versatile plugin. Whereas before it would only appear once per page load, it now appears every time an item is added to a users cart. In addition, the old version was limited to one add to cart button per page whereas the new one will work for every add to cart button on the page which is useful if you use product blocks.
  4. If you set the shopping cart icon to hidden, then a cart icon will appear in the bottom right hand corner, automatically when a customer add an item to their cart. Once it's visible there's no reason why you can't add some CSS to make it look like the Classic Button and change its position.
  5. I have created a Mega Menu plugin, currently it's only available for version 7.1 of Squarespace but I'm looking into the possibility of adding 7.0 support. https://thompsonweb.design/squarespace-plugins-extensions/mega-menu-plugin-squarespace
  6. Yes the & symbol showed red but was not removed from the redirect. You can try it for yourself by creating a test redirected t such as: /test -> /test& 301 Then just go to your website and enter the URL /test and you will be redirected to your 404 page but you will see the URL is /test&.
  7. Still works no problem with the & symbol with my testing.
  8. All you need to do is set-up a URL redirect. Don’t actually set-up the URL as an actual page on your website, just set it up in the URL redirect section. All you will need to do is enter something like. /affiliate -> www.tradetracker.com/yoururl 301 https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205815308-URL-redirects
  9. Pretty much what @paul2009 said, it’s meant more as a starting off point. As you can imagine when trying to provide a solution such as this, there are a lot of different variables in how a Squarespace website might be configured from AJAX to the specific templates, product blocks vs product pages... So one for all solutions like this do sometimes present problems. It was basically designed to work in a wide variety of use cases whilst also being simple enough for the lay person or anyone else who would like to develop on it further to decipher. In addition it was also designed in a way that makes it relatively easy to maintain incase something fundamentally changes on Squarespace. Unfortunately that means that in some instances it does cause some less then ideal situations like this one with the cover page. Really the only reason I suggest you put the html code in the global header is incase you have AJAX enabled. If you don’t then you can simply put it into the specific product page header which will solve your problem.
  10. Yes, I wrote a blog post about how to make a pop-up appear when a user adds an item to their cart which gives them the option to continue shopping or proceed to their cart. https://thompsonweb.design/squarespace-website-tips/added-to-cart-pop-up
  11. If you don’t deliver anything it may be better to set up your products as services instead of physical products. This way your customers won’t have to enter a delivery address at checkout and the delivery section won’t appear in the automated emails. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206540867-Service-products
  12. Unfortunately this isn’t possible with Squarespace. You can only charge one blanket tax rate.
  13. I'm assuming that you're not actually offering the properties for purchase directly off your website. If that is the case I would simply set the price to 0, then depending on which template you are using you can hide the price in the style editor. From there I would manually enter the price into the product overview text. The only real downside I can see is that you won't be able to display the price of the main product overview page, product blocks...
  14. Unfortunately this isn’t possible by default in Squarespace. @michaeleparkour Universal Filter has a sort by price feature and will do what you need. https://www.squarewebsites.org/products/universal-filter
  15. Yes and no. You can but it is going to be a lot of work. The solution is to use variants. So the variant title would be called Quantity. Then each variant would be a different quantity, 1, 2, 3... You would then price each variant accordingly. But like I said this is a lot of work, you won't be able to keep track of inventory, updating prices will be tedious and each variant will need its own SKU.
  16. Sorry, I forgot that you will also need to load the jQuery library as well for that to work. You will need to add the below to your websites global code injector header. <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.4.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
  17. Try putting the below in the order confirmation code injector instead. <div class="redirect-text"> <h2>Thank You for your Order.... onward to the the General Info Page!</h2> </div> <script> $('.redirect-text').insertAfter('#confirmed-page'); </script>
  18. I think Squarespace is down which is why we're getting the 503 message. As for the redirect message I do know how to do this I will just need to wait for Squarespace to backup and running. Did you still want the order confirmation information (order number, total...) to still display or would you prefer for this to stay hidden and just display the message?
  19. I would caution against automatically redirecting customers away from the order confirmation page as it is likely to frustrate and confuse them. Would it be more acceptable to simply add the information that will be on your general information page to the order confirmation page instead? That way customers don’t have to be redirected away from the order confirmation page. Depending on what information you would like to display it could easily be added to the order confirmation page. Do you have a link to the general information page that you can share? I can also provide a script to automatically redirect customers if that is what you would still prefer.
  20. It looks like you need to increase the line height.
  21. Hi there, It can take up to 72 hours for your website to fully switch over. Clearing your cache won’t speed anything up because it’s the cache on servers such as those of ISPs. Once those caches have been fully updated then people will be redirected to your new website but it will take some time. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206206678-Why-domain-updates-take-up-to-72-hours
  22. Drip campaigns are definitely possible, you just need to create an automation, select the trigger and then when you would like it to send. The only real limit is that you can only send them up to 60 days after the trigger is activated. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002077567#toc-connect-and-schedule-automations
  23. I’m assuming that you are referring to the plugins that display a little pop-up when you hover over a specific word. If so I have linked to a plugin for Squarespace below, its not automatic like the Wordpress ones so there will be a bit of manual work. https://noughtsandones.com/plugins/text-tool-tip
  24. SQSPThemes / @RasOmari sell a plugin that will do exactly what you want (linked below). https://www.sqspthemes.com/plugins/gallery-random-order
  25. Yes, SQSPThemes / @RasOmari wrote a blog post which I have linked below on how to add a tagline to your mobile header. https://www.sqspthemes.com/blog/display-tagline-on-mobile-brine-fam
