  1. I tried removing all my Firefox extensions and it made no difference. The only two things that made a difference for me were: 1. Using Firefox in private mode. 2. Or using a cache cleaner when the SS editor starts to slow down. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clearcache/ But it still runs smoother and faster in Chrome!
  2. I've had excruciating slow-down and delays in Firefox of at least 5 - 10 seconds when clicking on almost anything. Changing to Chrome does seem to have fixed it for now (though I'd rather stick with Firefox if I could). However, I've seen in the comments that the problem can return too, even after changing to a "fresh" browser, which makes me wonder if it is something to do with cache? Other people have also mentioned that the fix is turning off ad-blocker. Anyway, I'll stick to Chrome for Squarespace development for now and see how it goes... UPDATE: I've had some luck with speeding up the Squarespace editor in Firefox by using a cache cleaning extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clearcache/
  3. I have a client who has multi-day events they want to sell tickets for on Squarespace. E.g. one ticket would include admission to an event that takes place on 30 March, 11 May, and 15 June. As far as I can tell TOCK doesn't seem to support this? Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing on Squarespace before?
  4. Hi Naomi. Sorry for the slow reply. It's been a busy time! I did not submit a ticket, frankly because I've brought it up with Squarespace staff before and basically just get the "thanks for your feedback, but it's working fine for us" or "we will pass this along to the development team..." and then NOTHING changes. It sure is frustrating! Today I have to wait 10 - 20 seconds after every single time I add a block. During that time I can't select another block or edit anything. Argggghhh!
  5. I've been using Squarespace for many years, but in the past 3 months or so I've really noticed an increase in the number of issues in the page editor/builder. I've tried in both Chrome and Firefox and it makes no difference. I've also tried it in both 7.1 and older templates and the issues remain. Examples are: Insert a spacer block and have to wait 10 - 30 seconds before I can move or edit any other blocks Tear-drop insert points just not showing or showing in the wrong place (like in the center of a block, rather than at the edges) Unable to shrink or expand the size of a spacer one moment, but then can a few moments later Ability to edit a page simply goes away and I have to save or discard changes, then refresh the page and then continue. Does anyone else feel like they are constantly waiting for the page editor and it is slowing down your work flow? As someone who often spends 4 - 6 hours a day building Squarespace sites, I for one can say it is driving me crazy!
