Moving Post from one blog to another on same site
Thea_Rose replied to deannadenham's topic in Pages & Content
@paul2009 thank you so much for this post - it just saved me so much time! Thought it was going to be a huge job to seperate my blog out into several project specific ones. So nice when things turn out to be easier than you thought - a rare and precious thing! 🙂 -
Help... 7.1 Editor is ridiculously SLOW
Thea_Rose replied to sandy.pretzlaff's topic in Pages & Content
Had this issue for the first time today when I decided to rebuild my home page. Ended up doing all the text editing in Pages to get around the issue of the editor taking 10-20 seconds for each individual letter to show up on screen. Editing text I'd already written in the editor was a non starter due to the lag on it registering when you hit the back space and continuing to type meant I often got a jumble of letters. Editing each section was painfully slow and often wouldn't bring up the menus to edit the items within a section e.g. an accordion or a heading without refreshing the page then clicking onto something else and then coming back to the thing I actually wanted to edit. I wasn't under any time pressures thankfully as this took hours and hours longer than expected because of the very laggy behaviour. This must be a total nightmare if you're working with a tight deadline. I tried a lot of the fixes other people have mentioned but nothing seemed to help. Must admit to being a little alarmed at how many posts there are on this thread when I Googled the issue! This is the first time I've had issues with 7.1 but I thought I would mention it do the size of this thread. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow and today was just a blip! -
How to move image below Blog title / heading on Native template?
Thea_Rose replied to Belle71's topic in Customize with code
@creedon Sorry for the delayed response - busy day yesterday which meant I didn't get a chance to work on this. Thank you very much, I have just put the code you wrote into my site, it works perfectly! Next step for me - the css! Thank you so much for your help on this, I really, really appreciate it. -

@creedon That would definitely work, I'm planning to publish the site with a business plan once I've finished creating it. -

How to move image below Blog title / heading on Native template?
Thea_Rose replied to Belle71's topic in Customize with code
@creedon Sure! Please find attached a copy of what the individual blog post page looks like (SQSP7.1.png) and what I'm trying to match (my current blog : current blog.png). The templates in your screen grab are for the blog layout for all the posts. Sorry I should have been more specific, I'm talking about the individual blog posts. Thanks, Samantha -
How to move image below Blog title / heading on Native template?
Thea_Rose replied to Belle71's topic in Customize with code
Hi @creedon, I was wondering whether it's possible to do the opposite of this? I'm in the process of moving my site from 7.0 to 7.1 and the new blog post templates all have the title at the top. I'm would like to have the image at the top, followed by the title and then the meta data. Is this possible in 7.1? thanks, Samantha -
Amazing thank you very much @tuanphan

Hi, I'd like to do the opposite and force my site's footer to stack in tablet view (like it does in the mobile view). @media screen and (max-width:900px) and (min-width:641px) { div#page-5e271c8e6a01722e9108a62e .col, div#page-5d6b8b4114ca9400018b4d1d .col { float: none !important; width: auto !important; } } I've had sucess with the code above that @tuanphan posted on another thread on several pages on my site, but my footer doesn't seem to have a page or section id. I've tried various solutions using blocks and divs but nothing has worked yet. This is my site : https://ayane.uk/ Any help would be very much appriciated. thanks, Samantha

Site URL: https://ayane.uk/ Hi, I recently reworked my website and I've added featured posts to my homepage (before I just had a very simple homepage). In 'computer view' it now has a row of 6 posts in two difference places on the homepage, which I'm really happy with the way it looks. But this really doesn't work on the 'mobile view'. I was wondering whether it was possible it to display only one post initially in 'mobile view', but with an arrow next to it (like the carousels or slideshows have) so you can slide through the rest of the posts. I've tried all the different summary options I have in my template and the best I can get without messing with the 'computer view' is either them all stacked vertically (which makes for a lot of scrolling!) or two tiny very scrunched up posts side by side with an arrow to navigate through the rest. Ideally I'd like the 'tablet view' to have 3 posts showing and then you can scroll through the rest. In short; 'computer view' = 6 posts, 'tablet view'= 3 posts (with arrow to scroll through the remaining 3) and 'mobile view'= 1 post (with arrow to scroll through the remaining 5) I can do basic css and html, but this is a bit beyond my knowledge! I've tried googling various wordings of my question to see if there are any code clues, but I can't find what I'm looking for. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Sam
