  1. Following. I've been looking for how to customize the emails for some time. That's the reason most of my clients go to other sources like flodesk. There are just too many things (such as having such limited fonts and not being able to choose the individual fonts, not being able to change the color of the social icons, etc) that don't make it friendly for those who pay to get a custom site created and want to match the styling. I'm hoping there's a work around that I haven't found yet so I can turn those folks on to squarespace email and keep it all in the same system.

  2. Thanks @paul2009. The example would be when a client purchases a mentoring session they would then be directed to a scheduling page where they could schedule their sessions. We don't want to make this public or front facing on the site because we don't want people to sign up without having first purchased. We are using an external calendar source (calendly) and have it embedded on a page because we are selling multiple services (some of which are more products than service and don't require a scheduled time) and I haven't yet found a way to allow someone to buy one of each in the same purchase.

Currently, we have put the scheduling link into the notification email they receive upon purchase, but that also goes to people who purchase items that don't need scheduling. Ideally we would like the scheduling option to only be accessible to those that purchase mentoring. Hope that makes sense. The site is mixingmasteringmentoring.com. Thank you!

  3. @StaceyR I don't know if this would be helpful but I have used the 'add forms to checkout' option to attach specific terms and conditions as well as get additional information from customers when they select a product.  You can also create a little check box that confirms they have read the terms and conditions (which you can also put a link to in it). It can be assigned to one specific product or several products. Its in the commerce section in your inventory. Click into the product to edit and then go to Form (if using the old editor) or scroll down to Customize then custom forms in the new editor.

Or, you could add a form during the checkout process that you can make required so they have to fill it out before completing their purchase. Go to Commerce> Checkout then scroll down to Additional Fields or Checkout Page: Store Policies. I'm not exactly sure what you need but may be helpful for a solution without using code.

  4. @creedonThank you for responding 🙂 I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong so i did a workaround instead. I just added one text box for first name and another for last name. My goal was to take off all the titles so it just had the direction of what to type as the placeholder (like it is now) but I was having trouble with the phone and name areas as they seem to be only programmed with the title with no option for putting a place holder. Here is the site: https://lodeware.squarespace.com/ Pass: lodeware  I tried it on this page (at the bottom) but can't seem to get it to work: https://lodeware.squarespace.com/design-page

    Thanks so much.

  5. @sansari I found this article and it helped me a lot (even though it's for 7.0 and I'm using 7.1) https://beatrizcaraballo.com/blog/loading-background. I was using all black backgrounds and even though i wasn't using any of the light ones at all it was still flashing white when changing pages.

I changed the Main color and Overlay color on all the light background options to black and it fixed my problem. I'm not sure if that will work for all issues but perhaps it will help with yours too.
