What is your domain name? You can transfer a domain at any time. It sounds like you are perhaps waiting until you get near the renewal date to do this and then run out of time.

Have you discovered the several support articles that Squarespace has to help in explaining the transfer process. If your domain is registered at one of the more popular domain registrars they may have specific instructions.

Yes I've seen the articles It seems somewhat straightforward but I have very little time when factoring in freelance, family, full time gig etc. I spend time gathering the information, then I run out of time to try and implement, and get nervous about screwing it up. I realize this is partially my own lack of organization so that is why I was inquiring about it. Years ago when I set up a site through Cargo Collective they helped me point the domain to the right place.

I have a portfolio site that I've been chipping away at for years on Squarespace which I need to finish up, and hit a wall when it comes to the migration aspect. I want to migrate my domain from my outdated Cargo page. I understand I can do it by following steps, but it is confusing and takes time. I always run out of said time, then have try to pick it up a year later, rinse and repeat. 

My question is, does Squarespace offer any assistance with migration for a fee? I want to switch to Squarepace but I am forever stuck.
