I was able to figure it out. Instead of having my image block below the text block, I switched the order. in the block ID, i changed it to my image block id, and switched the opacity to start at 1 (full image block) and the second opacity I set at .3, so that the text block becomes visible underneath the image.

I've tried putting the URL both on the image block and the text block. It seems like the hover code wipes out the link. Is there a work around for this? Thank you!

Thank you everyone. I ended up doing a workaround that @Tuanphan (commented above) recommended to me, which is to upload the video via Manage Custom Files, and then use a custom block to showcase it.

This was a mistake on my end. I was uploading .mov files and it seems I am only able to upload .mp4's. Problem is solved!

I uploaded a vertical video into assets. When I select in the video blocks, it appears as a vertical video within a horizontal block. Is there a way to adjust this block so that it fits to the video? In this case, the video is 4x5.

Hi there. I have some video embedded on my site. This is not about custom code, just the Manage Custom Files upload. My main question is, I was using the Manage Custom Files button under Custom CSS to upload the video files that I reference in my code. (screenshot attached). Using this generated a url for me to reference for my code like this: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5130f11ae4b07fdedd2e5b03/t/62244191a87bca150b6841f0/1646543251336/EXAMPLE.mp4 I am no longer able to upload a video under the Manage Custom Files button. Did something change? Should I be doing this under the new assets feature instead? I'm on 7.0

Hey @adamw90 were you able to get a click through code working? I'm having the same issue - I got my videos to autoplay/loop/no controls but I'd like for the block to link to link to a project on a different page. Any insight would be super helpful!

Heya, I tried all the code options here, and none of these are working to be able to make the video block clickable. The HTML code I am using to embed a looping video via video block is: <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/683977585?autoplay=1&loop=1&autopause=0&background=1&color=ffffff&controls=0&portrait=0" width="800" height= "450" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe> I would like to be able to click this block and have it redirect me to another page. Anyone have any insight on this?
