  1. Hey @tuanphan sure, we're slowly building on 7.1 so I'm sure there are a ton of issues right now. As for the blog post item, made it work with a bit of css to remove the first item: .blog-basic-grid article:first-child { display:none; }
  2. I found that as well, but it's actually directed to removing the current Summary Block post. In my case, I'm using the Summary Block for the Featured Post above, and then the regular Blog Collection underneath. So what I actually need is the removal of the first post from the Blog collection itself. Sigh. Blogging in 7.1 is highly unintuitive. Definitely open for suggestions on how to achieve this.
  3. Site URL: https://moushi.co/blog Hey SS Circle Members, I'm slowly, reluctantly moving into 7.1 and have a question maybe @tuanphan could help with that might help others. I'm using a Summary Block to pull the latest post from my blog, and then the active blog is underneath. As you can see on moushi.co/blog, the first two posts are the same which is of course a problem. How do you suggest I remove the first post from the actual blog page? so that the Summary Block above serves as the main "Most recent" section for the latest post, and the following posts exist in the blog below. I've expressed my frustration to the 7.1 Product team that it's really not made for writers or bloggers at all but alas, it is what it is for now. Thank you for any and all your help.
  4. There is no reason on this earth that a slideshow with text overlay should be as difficult as it is. I'm on my third bout of cancelling 7.1 and having to rebuild in 7.0 because there is no way in hell my clients will be able to manage the site on their own --which is why I chose Squarespace for all of them in the first place. Nearly impossible to get a decent site without custom code; it's a process that is inefficient and costly on the build site. What took 5-10 hours takes 20-30 with the buggy platform and the need to implement code, not to mention the 3 or 4 different design areas one has to go to for any style changes "padding, font size, color, site width." It's a bad UI and a build that doesn't cater to builders. Super disappointing.
  5. This is a little ridiculous -- I know that in 7.1 share buttons are not an option (which I think many of us don't understand) but are forward/share buttons also not an option in Campaigns? @kerstinmartin I know you use Campaigns quite a bit, is that accurate? And if so, any ideas on this?
  6. Sir. I just wanted to say God bless you and your helpful code.

  7. @emmaj I'm with you 100% on this. I'm shocked this isn't a toggle of on/off since there is a description field available for each image. Does anyone happen to have the complete code to simply display description on gallery sections? (Grid:simple if it matters). This is like, ridiculous and a huge waste of time. I honestly don't even know what to think but the fact that I'm going a CSS route to display titles/descriptions is so frustrating.
  8. Got it. I was trying to avoid making separate pages for each person, but do understand this workaround. Thanks Tuan!
  9. Hey Paul, Yes! You're correct. Password for the in-progress site is keepswimming
  10. Site URL: https://koieducation.squarespace.com/catalog-2 Heyo! Thank you in advance for your brain power on this: A client has around 50 or so courses to select from, all of which I have to go through a contact form (rather than be purchased online). The goal is to be able to select courses, i.e. highlighting or selecting the courses of interest, and then sending out a notification email that expresses the interest in those specific courses. It's like shopping cart style UI, but without the checkout process. Any ideas on how to achieve this in an efficient way? Right now, I've got a course catalog with the form up top. The trouble with clicking through each course and hitting a theoretical "I'm interested!" button is that it doesn't account for multiple courses. Trying to avoid using a third party if possible, although I do think this can be achieved with Typeform. I'm still researching but would appreciate any help!
  11. Just for future sites. Wondering if the build for that style is easier on 7.1 or 7.0. It looks almost like a cover page structure so open to recommendations on how to recreate this style if you've got them!
  12. Site URL: https://newsroom.squarespace.com/blog/ Hey Circle Fam! Wondering if anyone knows how the SS Newsroom/Blog style can be recreated. https://newsroom.squarespace.com/blog/ Templates or tips on this?
