Styling a booking engine widget integration.
fathers replied to fathers's topic in Customize with code
I need it to function, at the moment it's just a mockup. I need to implement drop down date selectors, and when the user clicks "Check Availability" it needs to redirect them to this page with the chosen dates already pre-selected. Do you think this is possible? Really appreciate your help!- 6 replies

Hi there, I'm looking for some help integrating and styling a booking engine widget for a client's accommodation site. They manage all their cross-platform bookings with a Little Hotelier account who provide a handy date-selector widget to integrate on your own website. It is fairly simple in its design however and I'm looking to style it in line with the brand guidelines. Is anyone here able to help me rewrite the code to make the necessary changes, if it's possible? I would be so grateful for the help and of course will provide payment for any works carried out. URL: okra-potato-hzwz.squarespace.com Site password: leighton Here's the widget code Little Hotelier provide: 1 – INSERT THIS CODE TO PLACE YOUR WIDGET: <div class="ibe" data-region="emea" data-channelcode="leightonhousedirect" data-widget="property_check_availability"></div> 2 – ADD THE FOLLOWING SNIPPET JUST BEFORE THE CLOSING BODY TAG(</BODY>): <script src="https://widget.siteminder.com/ibe.min.js"></script> Here's how that code displays as default: And here's how I'd ideally like to display the booking engine on the Squarespace site with brand guidelines applied: If there's anyone that thinks they might be able help, please let me know either here or at hi@studiofathers.com and I would be so appreciative! Many thanks, Connor

Background colour when scrolling up above site header.

Nothing yet! Thanks for responding @tuanphan -
Hi all, hoping someone might be able to help! When viewing my site in Safari and scrolling to the top of the page, it allows a little bit of 'bounce' to scroll up beyond the site header. Currently when this is done it is revealing a white background. I would like it to be the same ocean blue colour as the header bar. It seems to work correctly on a page where the first section is a solid background, but on a page where the first section has a background image, the site background area is displaying as white, and I can't figure it out! Any help is massively appreciated, thanks! URL: mango-pear-zcpc.squarespace.com Pass: tuition

Site URL: http://www.amongthepines.gallery Hey! I've got my header style set to dynamic as I need my logo to overlay hero images on the desktop site. The trouble is due to the nature of our logo and slideshow images, the logo visibility varies greatly on mobile and so we'd like to implement a solid background colour on the mobile view of our site only. Is there a way we can keep the header style dynamic on desktop, but solid white on mobile? Many thanks in advance for your help! Connor

I've never seen a thread in which you haven't been a huge help - thank you so much for all you do! Perfect fix.

fathers reacted to a post in a topic: Shopping Cart Page Width
-
Site URL: https://www.amongthepines.gallery/cart Hi! I'm using a vertical navigation along the left side of my site. This overlaps the content on the Shopping Cart page and I'm trying to change the page width for this page only so the navigation menu doesn't interfere with the content. I don't want to edit the page width globally as this will break some of the design on other pages. Is there a way I can adjust the page width for the Cart page only? www.amongthepines.gallery/cart Pass: fathers Many thanks for your help!

Amazing work Tuan thank you so much for all you do. I was wondering if there is a way to limit the expanded accordion height and make the contents scrollable?
