  1. Collaborada's post in Pages not indexing on Google Console was marked as the answer
Hi @dotandpeg. Part of the issue is the site migrated without redirects. Old URLs were structured like /raiffeisen-work and new ones like /work/banque-raiffeisen. More info here: https://www.collaborada.com/blog/301-redirects
Let us know if you need help.
  2. Collaborada's post in Meta Titles on Portfolio sub pages returning landing page meta title ? was marked as the answer
Hi @feefee1 please try it and let us know how it goes. Make sure to use lower case "i" vs upper case. %i represents the title of an item.
  3. Collaborada's post in Help pls - Google Indexing new SQSP Site: Failed: Blocked by robots.txt was marked as the answer
Hi @Ash_B based on above, you disallowed crawling. Visit Settings > Crawlers and toggle back on.
  4. Collaborada's post in 401 errors to Member Sites pages was marked as the answer
A 401 indicates "unauthorized" which is correct as their crawler is being blocked from accessing the paywalled content, this is normal for member-only areas. It doesn't necessarily need to be "fixed." Just explain to the client that if they use automated reports, they need to apply contextual understanding.

@aleksander_kaiser The reply above mixes up factors that can influence a site's ranking with those that affect the display of meta descriptions.
The length of a meta description is not strictly limited to 150-160 characters. Shorter or sometimes longer descriptions can be appropriate. Google's documentation currently states: "There's no limit on how long a meta description can be, but the snippet is truncated in Google Search results as needed, typically to fit the device width." Backlinks do not influence Google's decision to show or not show a specific meta description. The amount of content on a page will not prevent Google from displaying your preferred description. Following SEO best practices is advised, but the absence of an H1 tag or a short title tag won’t lead to your meta issue. For some websites, a homepage title tag with just the brand name is sufficient. Google decides to show your meta description based on its relevance to the user's search query and the quality of the description. If no meta is provided, Google will pull a snippet from the page content. To update your meta description, write a compelling one and request Google to re-crawl your page.
For accurate information, I recommend referring to Google's documentation.
  6. Collaborada's post in Google search doesn't include pages was marked as the answer
@HomeownerHQ These are called sitelinks. Google documentation: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/sitelinks
As far as the meta description, Google is showing something more compelling than what is written -- tighten up the copy, make it direct and clear.

Hello. If a sitemap isn't updating, ask SS support to regenerate it.
  11. Collaborada's post in New User: XML map has repetitive image descriptions was marked as the answer
This has been happening for months. It is demo content. Change the image block from inline to another image style, remove the demo text, then go back to inline. Squarespace's own sitemap is full of the same. More info here.
