    breathedotdesign got a reaction from precedent in Member areas: manual account creation / require approval
    Has anyone raised this as a suggested feature with SquareSpace?

    I've done the same thing - created a 'free' members area for a not-for-profit client but need to
    Collect additional information about the 'group' they belong to and their role Have manual approval in place based on answers to the above MemberSpace looks like it might do the job but I can't ask the client to swallow another $25/month having just got them to sign up to members areas...

    Stupidly just built a members area to do just this (for a client) and now realised that it's not possible. I also wanted a custom form to collect certain information but can't figure that out either 😞

    Thank you - I've just found this, as I'm persevering with a couple of 7.0 sites and this worked perfectly for me (by editing the hrefs) on charisrefugees.org

    Add to Home > Design > Custom CSS
    a.Header-nav-folder-title[href="/investment-solutions"], a.Header-nav-folder-title[href="/contact"] { pointer-events: none; }

    breathedotdesign reacted to dvgdvgdvg in Basic grid blog - switching from 3 to 2 columns at medium screen widths breaks layout (7.1)
    Glad you figured out the title. 🙂  The page being discussed in this forum post is not made with summary blocks though — it's a collection page, and the difference is key. On a page using summary blocks, you can build a sidebar like you would any other content: just group whatever blocks you'd like in their own column. But collection pages are more restrictive. To achieve the sidebar on my collection page (and on the blog post pages within the collection), I used this plugin from SQSP Themes. Good luck!
