    @tuanphan great suggestion. I've never tried using that forum.

    Actually, I found a solution 🙂

    I ended up building a Zap hook between Squarespace and Zoom (via both APIs). It works seamlessly!
    So each form for each event is given a specific name within a given page on the site, then we use the Zoom event API to connect the data to that specific event.
    It's an elegant result... looking just like a normal Squarespace form, but it's super-charged with Zoom registration form backend!

    @DreamrW and @tuanphan I'm trying to do a similar thing on a client website. What "filter plugin" was used to make the Midas Touch Store filter structure work?

    lottydotty got a reaction from EarvinChong in is there a way to prevent reload to top of page when category selection is made on a Videos Page?
    Solved thanks to other people's explorations on the Forum. The best method of handling this is via the Universal Filter plugin. Others answered this question in other places (e.g. here), but the Video Page is a newer beast, so it seems worthwhile to let people know this solution also applies on video pages. Once installed I followed the "How to Install Universal Filter on Blog Page in 7.1" and simply used that for the Videos Page structure. That did the trick.

    @lottydotty It is the Universal Filter plugin.

    @tuanphanthank you! I ended up making a slight adjustment to your recommendation to ensure that the first logo went to the client's main site. I chopped up the original image file into two separate images, and I'm really happy with the results.
    Here's where things ended up...
    ------------------
    <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <script>
      $(document).ready(function(){
        $('.header-title-logo a').attr('href','https://www.federalcitycouncil.org/');
       $('<a href="https://www.districtstrong.org/" class="second-logo"><img src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/6317838b0dc6040f32e7c8b3/t/6414c9787a1bd341ff99b410/1679083896370/District_Strong_logo_larger.png"/></a>').appendTo('.header-title-logo');
    });
    </script>
    <style>
      a.second-logo img {
        margin-left: 0px;
    }
    </style>

    Thank you for your brilliant advice and feedback!

    It's interesting that Squarespace has a forum that they don't monitor or action on. I've said this in another post, they should be explicit about this not accounting for privacy. The term "member" implies privacy or exclusivity. This is just a subscription page. Those that are considering this feature, don't make the mistake I did by paying for it before understanding it's constraints (which aren't clearly communicated).

    Unfortunately, this isn’t possible with Member Areas because no ‘manual approval’ feature exists. Anyone will be able to sign-up by visiting the site and using a specific url slug - no matter what you do!
    I’ve posted about this a number of times because it makes this feature totally unsuitable for around three-quarters 75% of situations where memberships are required, including bodies, societies and clubs, but Squarespace are not listening and do not seem to grasp how important this is.
    I recommend you (and others reading this!) log a feature request with Squarespace. You can reach out to them here. I also recommend ‘liking’ and ‘voting up’ the questions about this, to raise the profile of this limitation. Here are some similar threads about this:

    Hello, I am wanting my members to have to apply and be approved to get the log in information. I can hide the account button from the public pages and just have the 'creating your account' like as something we send out to people once they are approved.
    However, I would like to be able to have the account log in button on public pages so that the approved customers do not have to click the email link everything they log in. The issue with this is that when you click on the account log in button, there is a button to 'create your account' on the pop up that comes up.

    Hi,
    I would think a majority of people running an ecommerce business supports multiple sales channel (i.e. squarespace, etsy, amazon, etc.).   With that each channel has it's own dashboard and metrics and it is not efficient to have to login to each to view metrics.  Add in the fact that they are not aggregated across all channels so you don't get a complete picture of what's going on across your business.   I don't see any solutions out there that would allow a consolidated view across channels but we don't even have the ability to create one ourselves due to squarespace not enabling us to download/export site analytics.   Does anyone else share this pain/frustration?
    Thanks,
    John
