@tuanphan thank you!! that works perfectly... is there a way to make it scale for mobile? (So, if the border on desktop is 34px, on mobile it's thinner)?
-
@tuanphan do you know of a way to add a border around individual sections on the page (and not have it automatically on every section on every page)?
-
Hey @tuanphan oh dear, what a rookie error! Thanks for you wisdom!

Hi, I've (hopefully) followed the advice on this page: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/207135178-Creating-anchor-links?platform=v6&websiteId=5f50ccb83c59af2681149fac The page I'm trying to add anchor links to is: https://www.zoehough.com/mpp (The content on the page is still in progress, so forgive the messyness!) So far, I've added one anchor link, but it doesn't seem to be working. I've added the code block: <h2 id="mpp-user-needs">Identifying user needs</h2> And, the text I'm linking to it, has the link: https://zoehough.com/pageslug/#mpp-user-needs (I also tried: https://zoehough.com/mpp/pageslug/#mpp-user-needs (which has the whole URL of the page) https://www.zoehough.com/pageslug/#mpp-user-needs (added the www) Any idea why the anchor link isn't linking? Thank you!

Thank you so much @tuanphan really appreciate your reply 🙂 That worked, and I added an extra line to give the hover-state button a black border div.button-block a.sqs-block-button-element:hover { background-color: #fff !important; color: #000 !important; border: 2px solid black; opacity: 1 !important; }

Hi @SimonRMiddleton, I think I'm having the same issue you had. Alt text is entered, but it isn't appearing if I inspect the element on Chrome. Did you find a fix? Many thanks!

Hi, I'd like to change the hover state of the primary buttons on my site so that the hover state is more obvious. At the moment the button is dark grey with white text. When hovering on it, the background turns slightly less grey. I'd like it to be more obvious — either underlining the text or turning to a white background with black text. Does anyone know an easy way to make either of these changes? Thank you Website: https://www.zoehough.com/

Section Text that has a word Changing every 5 seconds
ae_1 replied to MarkG514's topic in Code Blocks
Hey @tuanphan ah you are so kind! Please forgive my late reply, I didn't get a notification and just came to check now if anyone had answered... and I saw your reply :)) Thank you! One questions... is there a way to code it so I could have 3-word or 4-wordphrases (rather than single words) rotating? At the moment when I change the word to a multi-word phrase 'e.g. enjoys finding simplicity within complexity', there aren't any spaces so it comes up as 'enjoysfindingsimplicitywithincomplexity'. Would you know how to add spaces between the words? Thank you, and wishing you all the best for 2024 :)- 6 replies

Section Text that has a word Changing every 5 seconds
ae_1 replied to MarkG514's topic in Code Blocks
Hey @tuanphan I'd love to know how I can create one similar to https://codepen.io/rachsmith/pen/BNKJme — ideally in the first paragraph of text on my homepage. Do you have any tips / process you could share as to how to do this? Thanks a lot! (my website: zoehough.com )- 6 replies

Hi, Does anyone know how to change the font in the body of my blog posts to 'Moderat' (which is one of my custom fonts). I've tried adding the following code to my custom CSS, but it hasn't changed the body copy on the blog. Thanks for any suggestions! .blog-item-inner-wrapper { p { font-family:'moderat'; } }

Hi, I'm trying to get a title to appear at the top of my blog page, ideally on a coloured background — as per another page on my site: https://www.anxietyempire.com/sponsors But on the blogpage, it doesn't seem possible to create it in the same way as other pages. So, I've tried an the image with text over the top.... but the image comes up with a border on either side of it, and the font isn't my custom font. Does anyone know if there are easy fixes for this? (The custom font is showing up on the titles for each blogpost, but just not for the text on this image). Thanks for any advice! Cheers

Hi @Mark.Hook yes that's what I'm looking for! Is it possible with the css to just target that individual carousel? (as i do have other image carousels on the site so would need to keep those as image ones). Thanks for replying±

Hi, I have a simple page on my website and, rather than list quotes one after another, I'd like to have a carousel of them. Just like a carousel gallery of images, but with words instead of pictures. Does anyone know if this possible? (https://www.anxietyempire.com/sponsors : scroll down the page to see the quotes) Thanks!
