Hi,
Can you share link to this page? We can check easier
Hi @tuanphan, sorry I thought I added the link when I posted, there was a text field for website. The link is https://lammay.co . 🙏🏻

Hi hi everyone!
I've tried to do this on my own but from what I've googled, this might require some custom CSS.
I have a two-column layout on desktop view.
On mobile view, one of the sections are stacked wrongly.
This is the correct desktop view:
The bad mobile view:
The rest of the page stacks correctly except for the "20-min zoom" section.
I've tried to edit or move blocks around but nothing helps.
(And on a side note, v7.0 seems to be increasingly buggy.)

Very likely.
That fixed it!! Thank you thank you! I recall what I was trying to do now: I was trying to create a grid of images and wanted to remove the gap between them I think, or adjust. the grid, so I used that block of custom code.
-
OH! No, thanks again @paul2009!! There's some code in there:
.sqs-block { margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; } .comment-input { color: #000000 !important; } .chevron { transform: scale(0.5, 1); display: inline-block; } .lammay { letter-spacing: 0.25em; display: inline-block; } /* Hyphens */ p, h1, h2, h3 { -webkit-hyphens: manual !important; -moz-hyphens: manual !important; -ms-hyphens: manual !important; hyphens: manual !important; }
Everything else looks like style, except this, I'm not sure why this is there, could this be the culprit??
.sqs-block { margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; }

Hi @paul2009, thank you so much for your suggestion, I didn't think to look there.
I looked at Settings > Advanced > Code Injections but no custom code there at all. Guess I'll reach out to Customer Support.

This happened recently. The site is on v7.0 Brine family.
Usually I click on the +, select Spacer, and the empty block appears.
Now, after clicking on +Spacer, nothing appears.
But, the bin icon appears in the top left corner of the page.
ALL MY OLD SPACER BLOCKS THAT I USED TO FORMAT ARE GONE. The text boxes's dimensions can be adjusted by moving the boundary lines with the mouse cursor. IIRC previously I used the spacer blocks to do things like that.
It looks like it's a weird blend of 7.0 or 7.1? I could be wrong, but the workflow is very messed up.
What happened, what am I doing wrong here?

It seems to me that what you want to do is easier with image blocks and gallery blocks on a page that is not a gallery section but van be a page in the index. If you can post your website address so we can take a look that might help us to help you easier.
@derricksrandomviews That's a great suggestion! I'm manually building out this "grid" as you suggested, with image and gallery blocks.
https://www.lammay.co/test (you can ignore the big image at the bottom, I have to add more squares to that row and make it consistent with the top row)
Would you know how to adjust/close the gaps between the image and gallery blocks?
And would you know how to make the caption overlays consistent for both image and gallery blocks? They have different styles.

Here is the complete guide for how to use index pages in 7.0 Ethan is in the Brine family and index items are always stacked inside the index. I am not sure exactly what it is you want to do but I assume you have thumbnails you want to turn into a slideshow. I think you need to do is edit the section of the index page those thumbnails are in, go to site styles in config, choose layout and pick slideshow.
Hey @derricksrandomviews, thanks for jumping in!
I don't mind changing the template.
I'm looking to create a grid of thumbnails that's common for portfolio sites. Usually those thumbnails are single-image and they link to sub pages.
In my instance, I don't need the thumbnails to link anywhere, they just have to show images. And instead of a grid of single-image thumbnails, I would like some of these thumbnails to behave like slideshows, so there are left/right arrows that lets someone click through different pictures housed in the thumbnail square.
Sorry was your previous post suppose to have a link?

I'm currently using the Ethan template but that might not matter so much.
I have what sounds like a simple ask: Can I turn a thumbnail on an index grid page into a slideshow?
Basically an index landing page that looks like Instagram—a mix of thumbnails that are single images and multi-image sliders.

tldr; Features with Business plan with Google Workspace aren't needed right now. Can we move everything to Personal and normal Gmail, but back to Business and Google Workspace if we need to later?
Hi everyone. We have an SS website on a Business plan. There's a Google Workspace attached to it from when we created the website and we have an email with custom domain from Namecheap.
We're currently not using the website for any business purposes.
What happens to the website if I "park" it under a Personal plan?
I don't remember or think we did anything custom and fancy that required the Business features. But if we did, what happens to them—are they lost forever if the plan changes, or are they disabled until I go back on a Business plan again?
What about the email that I want to keep? It's on Google Workspace.
Does moving the website from Business to Personal plan affect that?
If I don't need Google Workspace, can the email be migrated to normal Gmail?
Can it migrate back to Google Workspace later?
Or does Google Workspace have the ability to be "parked" with less features and cost?

That actually worked! Thanks so much @derricksrandomviews!! 🙏

I totally hear you on that hence my confusion! The Reviews link links out to a blog page where people can leave comments, that's how we adapted the blog function for reviews. You can see in the link.
I read about this "hack" and purposefully made a blog page.
And in the Settings I see the Blog settings that I pasted.

Reviews is not the blog page, it is a link to the page. The actual blog page has a small a on the left side of the page in pages under configuration.
Hi @derricksrandomviews, sorry I know this is dumb and thanks in advance for your patience ...
I'm looking at the list of pages I have under Pages and what I captured is it—I don't see anything with the small a.

Using 7.1 go to pages, click on the blog page, click the thumbnail for the post you want to edit from the list. Click edit up in the top left of the panel that opens, then click the actual title of the blog. A vertical line appears and at that point you can edit the title or delete it using the backspace key.
If you are wanting to change the blog page name, go to pages then click the gear icon next to the blog page, the settings come up and you can change the name of the page, and the navigation name there.
Thanks for your help @derricksrandomviews!
Unfortunately I'm on Version 7.0– Brine family (Ethan template).
The link that says "Reviews" is the blog. Clicking on it doesn't load the page on the right pane, nothing happens. I can click on the gear icon which lets me edit the page name, link, and delete it.
But I can click on "Blogging" in Settings which gives me this:
-
I ran into the same problem.
Under Pages, I see my blog page on the left as a link (link icon). Clicking on it does nothing—the right pane shows the previous page I was on and doesn't load the blog.
Usually clicking on a page on the left brings up the page on the right with edit capabilities.
In Settings, I can see Blogging so it's enabled and I do have a blog page.

Hi @tuanphan, thank you for replying, you're extremely helpful around the forums!
Hmmm do I add the line block to the existing layout now, save, and then edit/remove the line block? or recreate the layout first—and can you clarify what you mean? Which part of the layout do I recreate, the two affected sections? Do I delete them and make them again or simply edit the existing text and save?
