    Or - another option could be to use the Summary Block. Maybe easier to code? I would just need a code to have the thumbnail images click away in a new tab.

    Ok! I actually found that bit of code in another posting here. Here it is:

    Add to Advanced ⇢ Code Injection  ⇢ Footer

    <script>
      document.querySelector('.summary-item a').setAttribute('target', '_blank');
    </script>

    Hi thanks for any help! I did try the code above but it's not quite right. On my blog I have coded to remove the titles from blog posts so the page only shows images. I need the external link to be on thumbnails, with it clicking away in a new tab. So in other words no one would be going to any blog post pages (those are blank). It's just the image clicking away to external content.

    The blog isn't live yet but you can see it here

    Hi there was there an answer to this question here?

    I'm looking to either:

    Use the blogroll page and code to have the external link-away to a new tab on the featured image as well as the title

    OR

    use the summary block but need the link to open in a new tab.

    Have you tried above code yet? And what is your site url?

    Is there a way to use the summary block work around, but have the link open in a new tab or window instead of navigating away from your page?

  5. Thanks for this - it's a good solution for the transition -  but moving forward, let's address new blog posts. Clients want to purchase a link in a post like this

    mydomain.com/their-article

    not like this

    mydomain.com/blog/their-article

    For new articles, my only option would be to have individual pages for each post. Given we post about a dozen a month, this would quickly become unwieldy.

  6. I as well and hoping there's a solution to this. I have a massive blog that I'd dearly love to move over to Squarespace but it's essential that each post live on my primary domain so

    domain.com/post-name

    I've sent a note into customer care to see if this is planned for the near future

    It has always been easy to do this on Wordpress
