Create color hover effects for Portfolio menu items

Howdy, Squarespace geniuses! I'd like to create a hover effect on the portfolio menu items on my website. I'd like it to match the hover effect that happens in my navigation and header. I'm using color #787878 for the Hover color. Website HERE. Please and thank you!

Howdy! I really like how THIS website functions. He has his portfolio page with all of his different projects. When you click on a project, you can scroll down through video and images, and eventually, you scroll down to what appears to be the start of the portfolio page, where you can select another project. How does one do this? Please and thank you!

Sorry - my site isn't live yet so the link it's working. Here's a site with the Portfolio menu, hover-on-background, and the fonts are transparent: HERE I'm basically trying to do something similar. Please and thank you! -
Howdy! The title says it all. I'm creating "Portfolio pages" - I'd love to have the menu for these transparent. See the link in the posting. I've set the style for that font to be "custom" - so it's not associated with paragraphs, headers, etc. Please and thank you!
