Hi there. I am trying to created a video gallery/library page on my 7.1 site. I have tried the Squarespace video gallery page option and though I like it and it would work for me overall, it is incredibly frustrating that I cannot add my own thumbnails for videos I've embedded. The thumbnails Squarespace automatically generates look terrible. Grainy and low res. All of my videos are hosted on Vimeo, so I can't upload all 50 videos individually to Squarespace (and pay for a digital products add-on) which seems like the only way to do custom thumbnails (custom featured image). Does anyone know of a workaround or another way to create a nice-looking video gallery? Ideally one that can be sorted by categories, like how the current video gallery/library page works. Hi folks. I am working in Squarespace 7.1 (Fluid Engine) and am creating a page with many videos. All of the videos are hosted on Vimeo and so I am using the feature to paste a Vimeo link and then I am uploading a thumbnail image that I've created using the "custom featured image" option. However, the aspect ratio of the thumbnail ALWAYS follows the aspect ratio of the video file. But, I want to make all of the thumbnails a different shape. Is this possible? I would also like to create a hover effect over the thumbnails so that the image changes when you have over it. Is this possible? Thank you!

Hi Folks. I have searched and not found definitive answers to the following two questions for a Squarespace 7.0 template (Pacific): 1. Is is possible to create a parallax scrolling effect over a video background? I have some heading text over a video on my home page and I want scrolling to create a parallax effect with the text over the video background. 2. I want to create slanted line or squiggle line dividers between the sections of my site, rather than just the straight line Squarespace creates. I know this is easy on Squarespace 7.1 sites, but I am using a 7.0 template and wil not be able to convert it to 7.1. THANK YOU!!! Bonus question: is there any sort of way to create a mask over a background video? Like if I wanted the video to appear as though it is inside a circular frame. Is that possible?
