  1. Thank you! It worked perfectly and looks great on desktop. However, on mobile, the 2 buttons are now narrow and sitting too far to the right of the screen, with the social icon floating next to them. (See first attached image.) Any way to make the mobile view look more like its original presentation, just with the social icon on the bottom of the CTA stack? (see second attached image) Thank you for your help!
  2. That's what I did, it didn't work. I ended up just using a cover page for now. Thanks for the assistance though.
  3. Ah, that option doesn't appear if you use the default "Email link" option. But if I hand-type "mailto:email@gmail.com" into the "Web URL" option, it works. Confusing at first. Thank you for clearing that up.
  4. I have "Contact me" buttons throughout my site that contain mailto links. Right now, they all open in your current tab, taking you away from my site. How do I make it so all mailto links on my site automatically open in a new tab? Here is my site: https://www.kwerling.com/
  5. On my site cover page, I'd like to move the LinkedIn icon to the right of the "View my past work" and "Contact me" buttons, instead of on the left like it is now. How do I do that? Here is my site: https://www.kwerling.com/
  6. I'm using the Flatiron template for my personal portfolio site: https://www.kwerling.com/ I'm currently working on the site, and would love to add a short disclaimer to the top of my homepage, above the grid of my featured projects. Is there a way to have the following copy appear on my page, below the topnav, but above the project grid? (With the "Please reach out to me directly" being a mailto link.). My homepage is an index page, so I'm having trouble figuring out how to add this. My portfolio site is under construction! In the meantime, please check out some of my past work below. Need recent work samples now? Please reach out to me directly.
  7. Site URL: https://www.kwerling.com/ Hi! My portfolio uses the Flatiron template, where the homepage is a gallery of all my project pages. I only have 6 projects at the moment. They look good in 2 rows of 3 columns, but I really dislike when it jumps to 4 columns on larger screens and the second row becomes half empty. I'm fine with it flexing to 2 or 1 columns on smaller screens. I would like to restrict the home gallery design to 3 columns at 1440 px wide screen sizes and above. Screens smaller than that I would like to leave responsive. How can I do this?
  8. Site URL: https://www.kwerling.com/ Hi all! Can someone help here? For my portfolio site, I wanted my logo to show on the left side of the top nav, and the two menu items to display on the far right, for balance. I found CSS on this forum to do exactly that, and it works great on the desktop and tablet versions of my site! The issue is that on mobile, it now displays both the default "menu" link above my logo, as well as the two items separately, right aligned underneath the logo. How do I adjust the CSS to display these two items, right aligned, only on desktop? And leave mobile as the default single menu item above the logo? ** Ideally, I would also replace the word "menu" with a hamburger icon on mobile, but I am fine settling with just removing the duplicate nav items, if that's much easier.** Here is the code I used that is working fine for desktop and tablet only: #navigator header#topBar ul#nav { display: block; float: right; }
