I use it for private pages, I use the url for that page in emails, social media, but don't want it on my nav bar. I also put my blog page in the unlinked section while using a summary block page as the front facing blog page.

If you would like a bit of holiday snow on your site use the following code in code header injection under website tools. It will snow gently on every page as seen here: my random views

Create a one-item blog summary block on a page, and set the block to filter featured posts. When you create a new post activate the feature toggle and it will update.

This is a tutorial for using the classic editor to make a section with image wrap. The classic editor is the default for 7.1 blog pages. So this tutorial picks up for you at the choose classic editor point.
Image wrap effect using classic editor on pages and blog pages.

There is currently no word on adding FE to blog pages, but a blog page can be customized using the standard tools such as spaces to resize blocks on a page. With summary blocks and Custom CSS you can give a blog listing page a very unique look just to name a couple of things.

This answer is from an older thread but I think it should still work for you. It will not work for any gallery block that doesn't have lightbox option, like a crousel slideshow.
Yep, you can do this with some Custom CSS. On your  page where the Gallery is, go to each image and enter the "bio" text into the Title/Description fields for each image. [edit] You must also enable "Lightbox" in the Gallery's Design Tab!
Under that page's SETTINGS pane, go to the Advanced Tab and add this code to the "Page Header Code Injection
    <style> div.sqs-lightbox-meta { background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.500); height: 90%; padding: 50px !important; } .yui3-lightbox2 .sqs-lightbox-meta { opacity: 100; color: #000; font-size: 40px; } </style>

Sounds like you could use an archive block  with categories. I use one of those. You can see it here. I also use drop down menus on the Nav block as well.

derricksrandomviews got a reaction from flownotionstudios in How to make video on blog post page smaller than full width
Okay, this is a blog issue, not a page issue. 7.1 blog post pages do not have Fluid Engine so they work a bit like 7.0. I will start from scratch. You edit a post and maybe a section.  To add a  block you hover over a text block (and one may pop up on its own) or any other block until it gets a blue frame and + signs on the top and bottom. You click one of those + depending on where you want the block, in your case a video block. Add your video, like you would any other page on your site. Now comes the fun part. You have to use spacer blocks on each side of the video block to size it. You add them one at a time. You add one then drag it over to one side until a vertical blue line appears but you don't want that line to go up any further than the block or it will shift your whole page to the right if you moved the spacer to the left side of your video block. Once you have one positioned correctly add another one, position it, and then resize the blocks to push the video block to the size you want it to be, it will keep the same aspect ratio. Don't forget to hit done and save (yes I have forgotten).

How about an according block?  Visitors can drop it down and all the sites will be listed. You could possibly add a link to google maps for each location in the  block as well.

Your original site will stay just the way it is until you decide to cancel it. You will have to activate the new one at the end of two weeks if you wish to keep it, and you can have both going at the same time, and then move the domain to the new one when ready. This is a very common thing even when moving from one 7.0 to another 7.0 template. They can be so different from each other that using the copy/switch template option is not the best way to go. I use Avenue and if moving to Brine or many other 7.0 templates, new trial and rebuild would be my way of making the move.

Bounce rates are usually high on any website, meaning many folks visit one page and bounce away. This doesn't mean you have a bad site, not at all. Believe me, as a blogger and photographer I know. I noticed two things, the joyful spaces for living, I think it needs to be larger, much larger. Also, your link to services is not going to a page, it is going to the error and missing url message.

Squarespace 7.1 doesn't have templates any more, despite them calling the different starting points "templates".
You should be able to replicate any of their "starting points" with font packs, preset colour themes, page templates, and section templates.
I don't believe that there will be template-switching available in 7.1, and if there was you would only get a blank website with demo content, which is equivalent to starting a new website.

Ah, yes. I remember doing this, fairly often even (the shoving around blocks, not the code injection). How easily one forgets. And in the same spirit I used spacers to get the picture smaller. I do wonder if it will work well on all devices, but I suppose it probably will. Thanks for the suggestion!

Retrieving content depends on how long ago you canceled your site.
If your content doesn't appear, it may have been permanently deleted. If this happens, it's not recoverable.
Reactivate your canceled or expired site
    Step 1 - Log in
    To reactivate the site:
Go to your site's URL. Images and galleries may not appear correctly until you reactivate your site. A "Website expired" message should appear. Click Owner login, and log in with your email and password. Step 2 - Update your billing payment method (optional)
If your site expired due to an outdated payment method, you'll need to update the payment method before reactivating your site. Then click Save before continuing to the next step.
Step 3 - Select a billing plan and reactivate
Choose a billing plan and resubscribe:
Click Fix now in the banner in the bottom of your site. Select one of our current billing plans. Review the order summary. To change the payment method on file, click Edit in the Payment section and enter the new information. Review your subscription, then click Confirm and purchase. Restored content
After reactivating your site, your content may appear as you last left it. It's appearance depends on how long the site has been canceled or expired. Content can take up to a few hours to repopulate on your site.

derricksrandomviews got a reaction from Ziggy in Does anyone know what template this could be.
The top link is built on a member of the 7.0 Brine Family, there are a lot of templates in the family and I can't identify the specific one out of forty it is. If I had to guess it is close to Clay or Foster.
The lower link as Ziggy said is built on a member of the York Family, there are five  templates in that family, there used to be six but Jones has been discontinued. I think it has been built on York or Jasper.
