  1. Use a code block or markdown block depending on the code. You put one in the post itself. Add the block just like you would an image or text block.
  2. You can but if they are custom fonts it will take a bit of code and you would need to upload the font files. Here is a tutorial to get the files onboard. Now if you want to change just a blog post, then post the text code, p, h1, h2 ect, with the font you want in a code block on the blog post. If a blog page then in the advanced header of the blog, which does take a businness plan to do. Now a lot of coders here have some targeted ways of doing this and they will chime in I bet. https://www.wolfandwild.co/the-blog/custom-font-in-squarespace
  3. I would like to see the text overlapping the bride holding the bouquet to be more transparent, let the image show through more. I think this will do it: /*Overlap Block*/ .sqs-block-image .design-layout-overlap .image-overlay{ opacity:.5 } If you want to use it only on that one page put this in a code block or advanced header of the page: <style> /*Overlap Block*/ .sqs-block-image .design-layout-overlap .image-overlay{ opacity:.5 } <style>
  4. Siteground domain transfer help. This gives general directions for transferring away from siteground to another provider in this case that would be Squarespace. https://www.siteground.com/kb/why_i_can_not_transfer_my_domain_tofrom_you/
  5. 7.1 is almost Brine 2.0, same template look (minus parallax scrolling) but entirely different configuration. Style tweaks, fonts, colors, a bit more organized, in one spot, some other editing functions located in a bit unusual spot for us 7.0 users. It is designed for a very different type of builder. It is a good one template family, especially for first time builders, but I still prefer 7.0 for myself.
  6. Keep checking it, my hosting checker says the domain is taken but not currenty registered which indicates it is in limbo for awhile. Could be a short time for it to move. The other thing is to make sure the domain is unlocked and allows transfer, check the domain status here: https://lookup.icann.org/lookup
  7. The tremont demo uses four different images, if they are all the same, then you can't see the changes. You may want to consider doing the same as the demo, use four different images, looks pretty good to me actually. https://tremont-demo.squarespace.com/
  8. UpLoad the first, the main image, for a total of three times, give each a different file name.
  9. .sqs-block-image .image-block-outer-wrapper.image-block-v2 .intrinsic img { border-width: 50%; } If you put the code in custom css all image blocks will be round, if you put it in the header of your blog, in a code block then only the blog images will be round. If you want only one post then put it in a code block in that post. You will want the code to look like this in a code block, and you can change it by adjusting the 50% to a larger or smaller number. <style> .sqs-block-image .image-block-outer-wrapper.image-block-v2 .intrinsic img { border-width: 50%; } <style
  10. Can you post the site address? I suspec your domain is not pointed corectly if it is with a thrid party, if you transferred it, it will take some time to move: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206542037-Transferring-a-domain-to-Squarespace
  11. Impact, a member of the 7.0 Brine template family, does not scale down a banner image for mobile. It crops it. You can see that by looking at the demo in mobile view (you can do that from the desktop and Chrome by right clicking and choosing inspect ) Since it does that, it is very important to choose the correct banner image, with emphasis on the left side of the image. That can be seen in the demo as well. I have two sites using brine and had to be very aware of how it works and placement of my welcome page banner. Your menu is there in mobile view for me. It is not a hamburger with that tem
  12. What template are you using? Options and code can be very different depending on which template, or 7.0 and 7.1.
  13. If there were not it would end up taking a lot of time to search, and then that question would come up. Why does search take so Looooong?
  14. Yes you will have to pay again, How long ago did you sign up for the first one? If within in the first 14 days, you will get a full refund, and the domain can be moved to the Keene site.
  15. Did you build a site using 7.1? if it is in a trial a and you want to use keene just let the 7.1 expire, and start a new trial with keene or keep it if you started one already. Some folks, like myself, have multiple trials going on at the same time, in order to find out just what template we want. Hopefully you didn't buy a domain, but if you did it can be tranferred. And just to make sure you and others know, Keene is a 7.0 site, membr of the large Brine Family of templates. https://keene-demo.squarespace.com/
  16. I have been experimening with this too. I can't make it work because as soon as you select a category and click it, you navigate away from the archive block, and it is no longer on the page, so in effect it is no longer active. I think it becomes more "last visited" as opposed to active. With that in mind maybe a coder can target it.
  17. They take quite a bit of work a whole lot actually and ones I have built for myself don't work with mobile.I think a plug in is the best way to go, and that does have some cost. You buy the bones and flesh it out for your client. Here is one: https://maphub.net/
  18. Looks right to me, could have been a temporary loading problem.
  19. This one is very simple, designed primarily for blogging, color scheme easily changed. https://native-demo.squarespace.com/
  20. Using Avenue when you click the + to add a gallery page, the images stack only. If viewed by itself not from the index they turn into a slideshow with mini thumbnails underneath. Like this page: https://myrandomviews.com/mountains/ This is the index view: https://myrandomviews.com/views-images#/mountains/ I use Avenue also. my random views is my personal photography site. Lots of images and blog posts. I have different galleries in the index page, some are gallery pages, some are blocks on a page. Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort is the place where I live during the
  21. You are basically asking about a mega menu. Can't be done by default, but can be done with code, but will not work on mobile, bear that in mind. This older thread has the same question and links to two sites, one is a plug in that you can buy and one that has instructions to make a mega menu.
  22. I think your site hooks the viewer, and a couple of tweaks could make it stand out some more, like image drop shadows and title drop shadow, something to lift them off the page. Paste these two snippets into custom css and see what they do for you. Don't like the result just delete the code. .image-block { filter: drop-shadow(8px 8px 8px #666666); } h1 { text-shadow: 0px 4px 6px rgba(150, 150, 150, 0.8); }
  23. If file management allows the images to be adaptable to whatever screen res, aspect ratio, of the device they are being viewed on, then I would certainly be in favor of it. It would be great for SS to provide that one day. In the meantime I have my own methods to deal with my images "library" which works well for me.
  24. Well if you wish to move your site from contabo/cloudflare first thing to do is choose a template: Popular Website Templates - Popular Designs - Squarespace
