How do I set "Paragraph 1" style in Markdown?
brandonhendrickson posted a question in Coding and Customization
Site URL: http://www.scienceisWEIRD.com This seems like it should be so easy, but I can't figure it out -- nor can I find anyone asking about this online! I'm using Markdown (so I can do some strikethrough text). I'd like to make the text in the Paragraph 1 style. I can find out how to make the text in a HEADER style. I can find out how to pick the specific font, color, size of the text. What I can't figure out how to do is to just set it to be "Paragraph 1" style. Any help? -
centre-align product block in shop
brandonhendrickson replied to zoe__'s question in Coding and Customization
Hmm — I'm having the same problem, and @tuanphan (who, let's be clear, really is a star!)'s answer isn't working for me. Could it be because I'm using SS 7.1? If anyone has a notion on how to center-align a single product, please do share!- 8 replies

Can I edit animation timings?
brandonhendrickson replied to brandonhendrickson's question in Coding and Customization
I just used the SS setting. (Do you think it would be easier to make the animations occur in sequence if I used custom code?) Oh, and I'm using SS 7.1. (The site's now live at adhdSAT.com, if that makes it easier to see!) -
Site URL: http://www.adhdsat.com Hullo! I'm trying to connect PayPal to one of my Squarespace sites. IT IS NOT WORKING. What's happening: I'm clicking Commerce I'm clicking Payments I'm clicking Connect PayPal I'm typing in my PayPal login info I'm seeing "You've successfully authorized Squarespace!" I'm getting a choice — "Go back to Squarespace" or "Continue to PayPal setup" Regardless of which I choose, when I eventually go back to Squarespace, I'm seeing "the rotating circle of death" over where it used to say "Connect PayPal" (image attache

Site URL: https://dolphin-llama-7w2z.squarespace.com/ I have a row of 4 images — the first image is a "1", the second is a "2", and so on. (The site is currently at https://dolphin-llama-7w2z.squarespace.com/, and the password to get in is "adhd"). Right now I have them animated, activated when the viewer scrolls down to see them. What I'd love, though, is to have the "1" animate first, and then after a half-second, have the "2" animate, and then after another half-second, have the "3" animate, and again with the "4". It seems like this should be simple...ish?, but I'm n

Can you reduce the padding in a markdown box?
brandonhendrickson replied to Claire_auck's question in Coding and Customization
I'm having the same problem, but putting the CSS in doesn't seem to fix it. (Maybe it's because I'm using SS 7.1?) I've made a special page to highlight this — both sections are using H1, and are vertically-center-aligned: scienceisweird.com/markdown-padding Any notions? Much thanks if you do! -
Drop-shadow on Headings

Ah, thank you, Chris! Worked perfectly. -

Site URL: http://www.scienceisWEIRD.com Hullo! I'm trying to put a shadow behind some of my headings (they're against an image, and they can be hard to see). Right now, I'm trying to do it with a Markdown box. I'm entering the following... <span style="text-shadow:2px 2px 3px #000;"> Next class starts April 27, 2020 • Open for all kids ages 9 – 12 • ADHD/2e students especially welcome </span> ...which works great — the shadow's perfect — but it automatically styles the text as Paragraph 2 (I'm pretty sure). I'd like it to be a heading. When I put <h2

Hello! I’m struggling to add an animated GIF to a page. Every time I insert it, it turns into a static JPEG (specifically, one called “public.jpeg”). Possibly relevant: I’m using the iOS Squarespace app to insert it into the page. (I’m on vacation, and only have my iPad with me.) At the moment, you can see the results of this at adhdSAT.com/resources . At the very bottom is the file I’ve uploaded (now magically turned into a static JPEG).
