After a longtime decided to change domain name. Purchased new domain. All of it is through Squarespace. I also am using Google Workspace along with it. I'm a solopreneur so I have no team or anyone else that has or needs access. My old domain is currently primary and the new one is currently secondary. I just want to set this up that the new one is primary and then shut the old one down after some time (3 months or so). Asked Squarespace for help. They keep cautioning me about how difficult it is and that "changing your primary google workspace is involved process and isn't always necessary". Then they send me articles that confuse me and don't get to what I want. All I want is to have my new domain as the primary, get my emails and google workspace stuff there and eventually get rid of the old domain. Can that be done? Can I migrate the old data to the new domain? Please help. I'm very frustrated.
