  1. Site URL: https://www.burchamandzugman.com/ Hi! I'm using the code below to display different home pages on desktop and mobile but it's not working. Did I do something wrong? //different desktop and mobile home page @media only screen and (max-width: 780px) { #home { display: none; } } @media only screen and (min-width: 781px) { #mobilehome { display: none; } } Thanks! Kico
  2. AH! I see what I did. Changed position to "relative" and now it's not jumping all over the place. I still ned help with the time delay though! Thanks! //position button at bottom of page#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1617904209747_3948 { position: absolute; top: 150px; width: 100%;}
  3. Site URL: https://fscvideo.squarespace.com/ Hi! I'm testing a site and want the button on the first page of the index to be hidden and fade into appearance after 50s. The banner video will automatically replay and the button should then stay fixed on the page. I added some CSS to bump the button down lower on the page but when the page loads, it appears in its default position then drops to the bottom where I want it once the page loads. It doesn't look good. So I need help with that as well. //position button at bottom of page #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1617904209747_3948 { position: absolute; top: 150px; width: 100%; } Thanks all!
  4. Thanks for the help @bangank36! I figured it out. It was a bad piece of code I removed.
  5. Site URL: https://faithstrongculture.com/new-index Hi, I know I've done this before but for the life of me everything I'm trying doesn't work! I'm pretty sue it's a simple setting. I have a video banner on an index page and when I view it in mobil mode there is a large chunk of white space at the bottom. What setting do I need to change to get rid of this? I don't think any of the minimal CSS I hav on the site is affecting it. Screen shot blow but you can visit for yourself. Thanks!
  6. Thanks! I added the code but it's still showing padding. I think it's the 17px margin.
  7. Site URL: https://www.mdzadesign.com/ Hi! So I have the CSS below on my site. I used the Brine template and tweaked it to have a Flatiron look. It was displaying edge to edge but now the padding is back! Can someone take a look and let me know if I should be doing something different? Thanks! //no side padding gallery page #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1608184638861_3775 { padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; }
  8. I could, but then it won't play sound. That's why I'm using a block instead. Do you know how to add a banner video with sound?
  9. Site URL: https://faithstrongculture.com/test Hi! I looked through the various other posts regarding full bleed blocks and tried a whole bunch of proposed solutions that didn't pan out fo me. So here I am again. I have the video embedded via a video block with the code below. (Courtesy of Rebecca Grace) <iframe src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/*******?playlist=*******&autoplay=1&controls=1&loop=1&mute=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I would like that video block to display full screen just as it would if it were a banner video. Appreciate all you in the community! Kico
  10. YES! I figured it out! Probably a very inelegant solution but here's what I did to have the mobile header elements switch colors based on the page background color in the same way as the desktop version. #your specific page .Mobile-bar .Mobile-bar-menu { stroke: #ffffff !important; } #your specific page .Mobile-bar .Cart, .tweak-mobile-bar-cart-style-bag-alternate { stroke: #ffffff !important; } #your specific page .Mobile-bar-branding { color: #ffffff !important; } #your specific page.tweak-mobile-bar-cart-style-bag-alternate .Mobile-bar .Cart .sqs-cart-quantity { color: #ffffff !important; }
  11. Site URL: https://faithstrongsite.squarespace.com/ Hi! I implemented the code below to change the color of my header elements on one mobile page from gold to white. Mobile elements don't seem to change color with different background colors like on desktop. This is the code: #collection-56099b55e4b0ec7b8a89d273 .Mobile-bar-menu, .Mobile-bar .Cart { stroke: #ffffff !important; color: #ffffff !important; } #collection-56099b55e4b0ec7b8a89d273.has-site-title .Mobile-bar-branding { color: #ffffff !important; } The issue is the number in the shopping bag did not change from gold to white on the home page and the bag itself stays white on the about page. Images are below. What am I doing wrong? pw: faithstrong Thanks!
  12. How did you solve this @sophiekaz? I'm having a hard time getting rid of the white bar.
  13. Site URL: https://faithstrongsite.squarespace.com/ Hi, I'm using the Brine template for this site and have the logo and navigation set on the bottom for the desktop version so it overlays the banner image. I've been trying multiple CSS tweaks to hav the same header overlay effect on mobile. Nothing's working. I can't get rid of the white bas across the top. Please help! pw: faithstrong Thanks!
  14. Site URL: https://faithstrongsite.squarespace.com/layertest Hi! I am trying to layer image blocks directly on top of each other on a single page. I did this with two images on the page linked above. (password: faithstrong) Adjusting the margins seems to work, but not on mobile. Here is the CSS I used. #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611041268633_5042 { margin-left: -640px; } #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1611041268633_3771 { margin-right: -640px; } How do I get the same effect to work on mobile? Am I using the best solution for what I want accomplished? I'd also like to be able to stack/layer more than just two images. Several in fact. So if you know of a better solution please share. Thanks! Kico
  15. Wow! Thank you so much! I'd like to say I was close but I wasn't. I didn't even think to add this portion of your code. Works great! And I did end up going with 174. Thank you so much! :first-child :first-child:not([id]).col
  16. Site URL: https://www.mdzadesign.com/new-blog/bear-republic-crossfit Happy New Year everyone! I would like to make the text block sticky in this blog post which is displayed in a summary block on a blank index page. I want the text block to remain in place while images on the right are scrolled through. Exactly as it is in the Flatiron template here. I tried adding: .sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html { position: sticky; position: -webkit-sticky; top: 200px; } It didn't work. I want the code to apply to ALL text blocks for blog posts displayed on this particular page. At some point while researching this I came across an article saying that the code above would work IF the container that both the text block and the images to be scrolled was targeted. I don't know how to do that. Any help with this would be appreciated! Thanks!
  17. No worries. Happy New Year! Yes please. I'd like to make a text block in a blog post sticky and be able to apply it to other or all blog posts.
  18. @tuanphan I'm on a business plan and would also like to know how to make a a text block sticky. I am using the Brine template. My projects are set up using a blog page and then shown using a summary block grid. Here is a link to the page. https://mdza.squarespace.com/new-blog/bear-republic-crossfit I'd like users to scroll through the post and for the text block to remain in place. Sticky.
