How do you add shadows behind Type over images?
JuliaHeld replied to JuliaHeld's topic in Customize with code
@bangank36That is awesome. It worked. But only on the home page. How do I do that for other pages? Is that what the section id is? How do you find out what the section id is? -
How do you add shadows behind Type over images?

I would like to add shadows behind text when over images. So the text pops more. https://jeffspeakes.squarespace.com/ -
Site URL: https://jeffspeakes.squarespace.com/essays/80-at-80 On Chart blocks, how do you change the default font sizes and colors? This is what the defaults are. How do you change them? The title is too big. Also where can you change the color. I tried a dark background and the lines and text were not legible.

Anyone have code for this? I don't see options in the sections. Thanks.

Portfolio Grid 7.1 alternative layouts
JuliaHeld replied to JuliaHeld's topic in Customize with code
@tuanphan on the home page for the portfolio grid. https://dianestember.squarespace.com/ -
Hi Tuanphan. I'm trying to change H4 in the code. I want to be able to change all of the options in the font field. The code is working on some but not all. What am I doing wrong? Here is a page I'm testing this on: https://karin.squarespace.com/type-syles This is what I did. h4 { family: proxima-nova; style: normal; font-weight: 800; text-transform: uppercase; letter-spacing: .7em; }

Where does the code go? Would Paragraph styles be P1, P2, etc.?

Thank you

Site URL: https://dianestember.squarespace.com/ Is there code that allows to modify individual text styles. The old platform allowed this. For example, there are 4 levels of headlines. I would like to customize one of them to have all caps and adjust font, weight, spacing and such.

Site URL: https://dianestember.squarespace.com/ Does anyone have custom code to create alternate layouts like this website below? The York template was able to do that but there is no option on the 7.1 platform. Only allows a grid. https://www.visitoffice.com/ https://york-demo.squarespace.com/
