  1. Working with Squarespace is becoming increasingly cumbersome. I too have experienced the issues mentioned in this thread, they are not caused by custom code or browser plugins. Additionally from the top of my head... When editing the site using Firefox the links on my website don't work most of the time, I get a blank page. Searching for Unsplash images in Safari is broken. Google Maps don't show up in Google Chrome. Trying to save a blog post occasionally causes an "Item Not Found" or a similar error. Moving blocks has become complicated, the line to drop a block over the full width of the page is not showing up. Please fix this Squarespace.
  2. I have since made changes to the site so I doubt it will help you, but sure! It's this one (password: herz). Using the Rally template (Brine family). I just successfully replicated the bug – create a new site using the Rally template and paste this into the Custom CSS... /** Footer **/ .Footer { background: linear-gradient(-45deg, #ece54c 0%, #46bdcf 75%); } Save and refresh the page. The edit buttons should no longer show up. They will show up when you remove the percentage values from the code. ------ Another thing I'm currently trying to figure out on the beherzt Website (password: herz) is how to use a :hover on a parallax item. See I'm using a clip-path to change the appearance of pages with banners on the site... .Parallax-host-outer .Parallax-host .Parallax-item:not(:first-child) { clip-path: polygon( 0 6vw, 100% 0, 100% calc(~"100% - 6vw"), 0 100% ); -webkit-clip-path: polygon( 0 6vw, 100% 0, 100% calc(~"100% - 6vw"), 0 100% ); } Can I somehow use a :hover effect on this? I want to change the clip-path so that it reverts back to a rectangle. It works nicely on pages that have no banner image and the Footer but I can't make it work with pages with banners. Thanks for your help tuanphan!
  3. Hello! Has anyone encountered problems with CSS gradients with percentage values disabling the Squarespace page edit buttons? As soon as I add percentage values I can no longer edit the pages – the edit buttons won't show up. Double-clicking the content (which usually enables the editing) won't work either. To replicate the problem, try this in the Custom CSS... .Footer { background-image: linear-gradient(135deg, #ece54c 0%, #46bdcf 75%); } Going back to Pages and reloading the site will stop the edit buttons from appearing. Removing the percentage values like below will solve the issue... .Footer { background-image: linear-gradient(135deg, #ece54c, #46bdcf); } Adding a linear gradient with percentage values to text doesn't seem to cause a problem. p { border: none !important; background-image: linear-gradient(135deg, #ece54c 0%, #46bdcf 75%); } Does anyone have an explanation for this? Is this a bug or did I miss something? Thanks!
  4. Figured it out! To remove the images in the calendar, use this code: .background.background--iseventscollection { display:none; } To make the events visible use this: .itemlist { display: block !important; }
  5. Hello! I want to display events using a Calendar. When there is only one event a day the calendar shows the thumbnail of that event. When there are more than one event a day the calender shows text. Is there a way to get rid of the thumbnails altogether and only show the text, even if there is only one event that day? Removing the event thumbnail is not an option. Making the calendar smaller to hide the thumbnails is what I want to avoid. The website uses the "Personal" plan, so no custom code except custom CSS. I tried removing the images with CSS, but it will only show an empty cell without text. I thought about changing the mobile breakpoint of the calendar to trick it into displaying the mobile calendar without the thumbnails, but I'm not sure if that is achivable with CSS. Any help would be appreciated!
  6. Same problem here. Squarespace Customer Care told me I was using custom code on my folders and they couldn't help me. When you click on a folder in the navigation it now takes you to the first item in the folder. So if you add a link to the folder and make it the first item in the folder, clicking on the folder in the navigation will take you to that link. If you don't want the link to show up in the submenu you can hide the first item of a folder with CSS. In the Brine template family it should be this code: .Header-nav-folder :nth-child(1) {display: none !important;} I hope this workaround will help you guys. It's rather annoying that a workaround needs to be used, when Squarespace could simply add the option to add custom links to folders.
