I'm looking for a way to maintain the aspect ratio (the full size of photo) when the screen size changes on different desktops. Is there a simple code for this?

I'm having issues with my images resizing and cropping on smaller screens or mobile view. Any suggestions on how to maintain the full images. The desktop version I'd like to maintain The cropping that happens.
