    Adding Ko-Fi button

Site URL: https://www.eleanormccarthy.art I would like to add a Ko-Fi button on the side of my website, on all pages. Ko-Fi can provide code for a button, but I can't figure out how to make it float at the side of the page(s). Thanks!

  3. With the squarespace store, is there a way to create a table with 7 products and each product has the ability to have different quantities using one add to cart button? This is an example of a similar site using this functionality (see below). This screen grab has red dots where the variable quantity input actually appears.

  4. Thank you both! I am sizing in the browser window and if you look at the page, you can see the text feeding UP. (https://www.anderlegallery.com/shop/lamps) - well, you could before I just fixed it. 🙂 I finally figured out the right css. No, I'm not using absolute positioning, or bottom: 0 - I finally see where you're seeing that though, but that's the native code. Somehow I missed that before because it was on the pseudo element. I didn't even realize there was a native :after other than my own. But it is the flex display that was causing the problem. So, I set relative positioni

  5. Luckily it has been fixed by now. Yay!!! I wish SS also added an option to use operators with tags. Like browser search operators))))) I also need this feature for products on the site I'm working on((( One of the options would be using a paid plugin - Universal Filter. Another option I could think of is simple but not optimal because works only if you need to filter by 2 tags, not more. It is duplicating certain tags as categories. In this case you cannot use the Archive block because it will look messy. Let's say you have 2 Categories: dogs, cats and various

  6. I second that. I made the mistake of creating my member area before checking on this. Now I have a member area that anyone can become a member of. I need some control over who can and cannot become a member as my payment structure is done outside of the SQSP environment. I don't think directly linking to the member area via email all the time is an acceptable option.

  7. Add the following to Store Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for the store page. <style> .tag-shopify .ProductItem-details .product-quantity-input, .tag-shopify .ProductItem-details .sqs-add-to-cart-button-wrapper { display : none; } </style> This is for v7.1 and specific the the OP's need. Then add a shopify tag to each product where you want to hide the SS quantity and add to cart button. Let us know how it goes.

  11. Hey there! Those questions do sound familiar to me. Personally, I am a big fan of using CTA in my business. Whenever I create a content about my products, I tend to design it the way that would really lead into my specific call to action for that article. Using CTA is not just about telling people that you need to do something, but also explaining to them why they need to do so. One of the things I can share is to use emotional appeals moderately. In our industry where we sell what we have worked hard for, it is not enough for people to know how good the product is as it is but also

  22. I think this may be because the needed elements are not on the DOM when the code runs. Even though the code has waited until document ready. 😞 This may need a MutationObserver.

  23. Yes you can hide the elements on some pages only. If you can provide a URL for a product detail page where you want to hide the elements we might be able to get you headed in the right direction.

  27. I have updated my code post. If your current code is working then no need to update. The new feature is support for a guard processor. This means you can write a custom script that can help decide if the code to add the button should run. Useful if you want the code to only run on certain pages. For example if your product has a certain tag or if the product has a particular sku. It's really up to you! 😀

    Core Web Vitals

You can get a SS website to deliver on all the CoreWebVitals but it needs some really advanced code optimization. We have a 943ms load-time and a cumulative layout shift of 0.05 now, using advanced code injection and pre-connect and preload headers, combined with serving things like Jquery through non-google CDNs has shown that we can tick nearly all the boxes on this latest hoop jumper. Here's a helper: https://web.dev/preconnect-and-dns-prefetch/ I am actually pretty sure that SS has been doing some stuff already because there were a lot of Unusued Javascripts that were loading in my

  36. Site URL: http://www.blackhartstp.com I maintain our bar's calendar for shows and events and there are several features that are absolutely maddening. Many of our events are weekly, but in order to put each individual event up you must: duplicate the event, delete (copy) which has been added to the title, and then at times you have go in and manually adjust the individual event webpage because it just keeps adding digits to the html every time you duplicate. All of this means that it takes probably an hour or two each month rather than just setting the calendar for the year in one sitt

  37. Would also love a bulk import feature for events. I have mentioned this before but not sure if thats on the feature roadmap anytime soon. Entering each manually is absolutely painful

  42. I've been frustrated by not being able to do recurring events in SquareSpace for a few years now. I finally decided to give up on the SquareSpace events calendar tool and instead embed a calendar from another website. I ended up embedding our business' Google Calendar which doesn't create the most elegant solution, but it is free. There are other sites like Tockify, CalendarWiz, Time.ly, Loxi.io, etc. that have free and paid plans for more elegant solutions.

  43. Hi Amanda Unfortunately, Squarespace wasn’t built to do this so there isn’t a straightforward solution available. Gift cards would be great for deposits if it weren’t for the issue with the fixed wording that you’ve already described. One workaround is to create a specific ‘service’ product for deposits. You could then process the deposit as an ordinary online payment. The deposit can appear on a ‘pay deposit’ page to enable the customer to easily pay the deposit. When it comes time for the customer to pay the remaining balance, you can email the customer a link to a special ver
