  4. Thank you very much for looking into this so throughly, I really appreciate it. I just changed it from "slide" to "fade" and that seems to have fixed the issue of the photos jumping around! I can't believe that ended up fixing it, that was very perceptive of you to identify that as a possible cause. If you have the time, please check the website again on mobile to see if it is fixed for you as well. Navigating backwards seems to also work now, and the navigation buttons seem to be the respective left and right halves of the screen, so you do not need to aim for the small arrow icons. Unfo

  14. There is currently a bug in the Announcement Bar settings panel. It was acknowledged on 14 March last year! It should only be possible to paste "plain text" into this box, but it is currently accepting "formatted text". In your case, the text includes HTML that tells it to look like a h3 header. It can be tricky, but it should be possible to remove the formatting by Deleting all text contents within the box On the empty formatted box, Select all ( Cmd A or Ctrl A depending on Mac/Windows ) Delete again to remove formatting It may take a few attempts to do this.

  19. Thanks for reaching out, @paul2009. I'd come across your product but didn't recall it being flat-rate. That's attractive. I was trying to avoid paying for this as I'm under the impression it's not even required, it just makes some visitors "feel" better. Also, with a paid product, I'd like to be able to specify which pages it appears on, specifically with include and exclude capabilities. Does this extension offer that?

  20. There are a number of issues with using the promotional pop-up as an age-gate solution, aside from the obvious issue that you cannot use it for promotions! It's not just the X that dismisses the popup. Clicking anywhere outside the popup will also cause it to disappear, before they consent. It's also not possible to make it reappear the same day - it won't appear until the next day - which can be an issue in some territories. We produce a low-cost solution that doesn't have these issues. If you'd like more information, see the product description or get in touch and we'll be happy to answ

  22. You can change these with some CSS that you'll add to Design > Custom CSS. Addressing the alignment issue first, you can fix this by adding some margin along the bottom of the sign-in link. .Header-account.loaded .user-accounts-text-link { margin-bottom: .309em; } Once the link is aligned, you can add some background color and some padding to make the link look like a button. You didn't say how you wanted it to look, so I've assumed that you want to match the buttons on the banner image. These have rounded edges, so you'll also need to set a border radius. If you add these t

  23. thanks @bangank36, this would've been perfect but it doesnt seem to work for me even after following the video tutorial, and clicking "preview in safe mode". I also tried to view the page on both safari and chrome. Is there a step im missing? Site URL: https://bassoon-crocodile-e6be.squarespace.com/ Hi all, I have applied a box shadow to one of my image cards, however I have noticed that the corner (circled in image) has no shadow showing. My eyeballs can't handle the inconsistency, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this. I have added a code snippet below and website details. .image-block-outer-wrapper.design-layout-card { box-shadow: 0 4px 15px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 5px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.01); } Thanks in advance! -- Details: Website: https://bassoon-crocodile-e6be.square

  26. @Nita Whole numbers only for quantity. Not sure how this would work but could you sell by the 1/10 meter? Then if I wanted 1.3 meters I would set the quantity to 13. It might even be possible to have some Javascript to put a message on the page to reinforce how many meters are being bought. This is a mock up. I suspect that folks are used to buying by the meter and to do it any other way might be confusing for everyone but I thought I'd throw this out there.

    thanks for the reply Tuan, the code did markdown the size of the text, however, it didn't do exactly what I was looking for. it did manage to scale down the sub headers but didn't effect the main header and the content under the subheaders. I am using this code already for the accordion: <script type="text/javascript" src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(document).ready(function(){ $('.markdown-block .sqs-block-content h3').css('cursor','pointer'); $(".markdown-block .sqs-block-content h3").nextUn

  28. Q1. Use this code h1, h2, h3, h4 { font-family: 'Circular' !important; } Q2. Add to Custom CSS @media screen and (max-width:767px) { h2.item-pagination-title { display: none; } .item-pagination-prev-next { display: block !important; } } Q3. Have you declared font-face for 'CircularStd-Medium' yet?

    Yes. You can add some media queries to apply different positioning or sizing according to the width of the viewport (the screen width). For example, to apply a setting on screen widths below 768 pixels, you could add the code below. Your settings (as you mentioned above) go inside the media query, but with a different position. @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { //set your styles here }

    You mean header/footer background color or border color??? If border, use this code header#header:after { content: ""; background: red; height: 5px; width: 100%; display: block; } footer.sections:before { content: ""; background: red; height: 5px; width: 100%; display: block; }

  34. Just stunning that this extremely basic functionality isn't already part of Squarespace, seeing as it's been requested - vehemently - since 2017 at least. I found all these delightful threads full of people who would love to be able to do something like, say, use the same form they created on one page on another, or copy/paste a section of laboriously arranged blocks so that they needn't recreate hours of work over and over. Each of these threads ends with "perhaps you should request this feature!" So, exactly what does it take to get Squarespace to even notice repeated, consistent requ

  35. Same here!. I uploaded a lot of photos to the wrong place, and it turns out I can't move them, so only option is to recreate gallery and add again. One at a time is too slow a process, so I now need to up load them all again! Seems silly there is no media or file manager function where you can manage uploaded images. :(

  39. We appear to be at one of those development crossroads right now @WiseDogStudio, but there seems little doubt that WebP is the most likely contender for 'next-gen image format'. It's just unfortunate that we're in a transition period right now. However, given the usability and commercial considerations involved, it's likely that all browser flavours will have to support the newer formats in the near future. From a client perspective (I deal with some product brands with extensive image libraries), I'm working with their people to ensure that they're converting libraries to WebP in readiness, e

  41. HI @BradKlopman I was looking for a solution for this as well, and being unable to find one, I created aJavaScript hack that got the job done. This can be inserted via the advanced tab code injection section to allow you to tweak the speed at which images transition: <script> window.oldSetTimeout = window.setTimeout; window.setTimeout = function(code, delay) { if (delay == 5000) { delay = 2500; } var retval = window.oldSetTimeout(code, delay); return retval; }; window.oldSetInterval = window.setInterval; window.setInterval = function(code, delay) { if (delay == 5000) { dela
