  2. A cohesive brand is made up of many smaller decisions, from color palette to language used on social media. Where would you begin? A product is never just a product, right? Choosing certain products or services is often done with the general experience we think they will provide in mind. The goal of branding overall is to stand out from the crowd, to have a name that will be remembered, preferred, and even admired. Share your must-haves in the comments below.

  3. Site URL: https://rolling-pictures.squarespace.com/documentary Hi, I would like the Blog pages: Animation Documentary Feature etc to show more than one image on smaller devices. Currently, the mobile view shows one project/image at a time. See images attached for reference on what it the mobile version looks like. vs the desktop. I wouldn't mind if the mobile shows two images at a time. Another screenshot showcases the about us gallery images which shows 2 images at a time on mobile, but for some reason it's getting cut off and expanding the page horizo

  4. Site URL: https://dirtyrubbers.com/exs Hey everyone, I recently purchased Universal Filter from SQUAREWEBSITES and tried installing it by injecting the code on my site but it doesn't seem to be working. My goal is to have the Filter work on all summary product pages of my site. I wasn't sure how to do that though, so to start with I only targeted the CSS selector of the summary block located on this page (#block-7739bbdad2f9392982d3): https://dirtyrubbers.com/exs Here's what I have so far after inserting the CSS selector mentioned above: // Header Injection <link rel="styl

  5. Site URL: http://www.racedayprofessionals.com/ We produce events and normally they last a few hours on a specific day. This year, however, many of these events have become โ€œvirtualโ€ and can now last days, weeks or even months. Normally, the calendar I use shows the event logo and even on busy weekends, it was a bit cluttered, but it was โ€œokโ€. Now, however, the calendar is a mess. With a repeating logo every day for the duration of the event, it is very cluttered. Other than changing to a list view, is there a better way to handle long duration events in a calendar view?

  8. I just checked it out on my phone and you're right it works! But now I have a new issue. The "Previous" and the "Next" button are falling at weird spots on the bottom of the page and the word isn't center aligned with the arrow. Any ideas on why this is happening? I have some code that I used to change the name of these buttons. Code: /* Blog Page Next Button */ span.next-label { visibility: hidden; } span.next-label:after { visibility: visible; content: "Next"; font-size: 24px; } /* Blog Page Previous Button */ span.prev-lab

  12. Site URL: https://willrothfuss.com Is there any way to make the height of gallery section grip strips consistent in 7.1? The size of each row seems to change randomly with the width of the browser window. I also for the life of me can't figure what the "row height" slider actually does. I'm a little leery of inserting code, but if this is recommended, should I make a copy of the site for safety? I am frustrated with the limited gallery options in Squarespace. Website is willrothfuss.com and password is willweb

  19. Since the styling is block-specific, you got to know the id of each block 1. Install Chrome extension Chrome Web Store - Extensions (google.com) 2. Click on extension icon to get the block id and replace it into this snippet (replace the text: _block_id with id) _block_id ul li>*:first-child::before { content: '' !important; } _block_id ul li { position: relative; list-style-type:none; } _block_id ul li:before { content: ""; background-image: url(https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5fa48e9e7c970759a6f2f59f/t/5fbc348263a1d011e44a0047/1606169730628/Gold+plant+leaves.

I am using the Anya theme (I believe it's Bedford family?) and I wish to change the text size, color, etc only specifically for the footer, and not use those text specifications anywhere else on the website. I have tried a few custom codes but none of them seem to work. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

This is the current size in mobile landscape (see top left) : This is the ideal size (photoshopped below) : Would appreciate any pointers or tips on how to change the size in this view. 28. Unfortunately I don't think this is possible just with Squarespace Analytics. You'd need a third-party tool like Google Analytics (and it sounds like you're aware of what the setup there would look like already). I've worked around this in the past by setting up GA and ecommerce tracking, and then sharing a link to a Google Data Studio dashboard with the client which can be a pretty self-service way of looking at the data.

You cannot change this behaviour on the checkout page but errors will be highlighted when a user attempts to submit the information, allowing them to correct any mistakes.

  34. Hi all, incase anyone is looking for a fixed background over an entire page with one of the built-in image effects, here's how I cobbled a solution together: 1. Moved all sections together into one single section with the section at the widest width. 2. Added code and spacers to skinny up a few of the blocks that hadn't been the widest width. 3. Added this code to fix the background's position: ** I chose to apply the background without code to utilize squarespace's responsive cropping. I like the focus feature personally. Applying the background this way also allowed me

  39. Same issue. We asked a lawyer an advice for GDPR/legal text for a client website. She finally told us whatever the text, we are fucked up because we can't propose a yes/no solution in the cookie banner and a preference center after the approval. GDPR is clear in France and EU : users have to be able to say yes or not to cookies and then be able to modify their settings. And the risk is pretty high : 4% of the sales revenue. we have warned guys at squarespace. they have asked their devs to "consider" fixing this issue. Hope they will do it soon since we have several websites live and some

    Secondary Navigation

Site URL: https://www.freezeframeonline.org Has anyone found a template that allows for a secondary navigation bar to be displayed on a mobile screen? I have attached a screen shot of the Festival page on our website (currently using the Adirondack template). As you can see, we have a secondary navigation menu for the Festival page that shows on desktop but not on cellular devices. I have checked the preview on a couple of other templates and it doesn't seem like this secondary menu would be displayed using them either. If anyone knows a way to get the secondary navigation to display on mobi

    Dropdown menu styling

Site URL: https://www.alceasurrogacy.com It seems that 7.1 has zero styling options for the dropdown menu. I honestly can't believe they think this is ok design-wise and I have no idea how designers are getting around this. Example: live site can't be updated til I get a fix because it's so bad: Right now, what I have is completely unacceptable for my client.
