    Site URL: https://www.kwinmosby.com/blog/coronavirus-effect-impact-on-travelers-of-color I have a blog on my personal website and would like to add a social share bar to each blog post. Has anyone used customized code that has worked really well with Squarespace? I would like to allow readers/users the ability to share a blog post on social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've added an example of one of my blog posts that I would like to add a social share bar.

    Markdown Blocks are more useful than Code Blocks, because you can continue to format your text with a Markdown Block, like you would in an ordinary Text Block. To add an H1 title, you just type # and the name of your title. To add an H2 title, you just type ## and the name of your title. To add an H3 title, you just type ### and the name of your title, and so on. Instead of using a combination of Text Blocks and Markdown Blocks, you could use a single Markdown Block for all the text, or at least all the text between other Blocks such as images. As an example, here's an extract of your page as it is now: Here's the same extract, with all the text added to a single Markdown Block: You'll see that because the text is all in one block, there aren't additional spaces above and below the first paragraph. I hope this makes sense 🙂

    Cannot get code to work!

    Thankyou RWP fro your help! I carried on trawling through this forum and stumbled upon the answer from another post, again from yourself. It was to change http: to https: in the code, so again you were correct to point to the urls as source of the problem. Thank you very much for your help

    Cannot get code to work!

    Its working, the "script disabled" is coming from the script. Maybe it needs to be tied to your webpage URL or something in the setting of the place that gave you the script.

    You should be able to do this with a little more CSS 🙂. For example: @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .view-item.collection-type-blog.collection-5eefe73c2814402a19db9172 .sqs-block-image img { max-width: 70%; margin-left: 5%; } } Explanation: The first line is a media query that prevents it from applying unless the "viewport" (the screen width) is less than 768 pixels. I set the maximum width of the image to 70%, but you can change this to suit your needs. I added a left margin of 5% to align the image with the text on the mobile page, because images are normally shown full width on mobile devices.

    You cannot add the PDF file itself, but you can add a link to the email so that when a customer clicks it, the PDF will download from your site and be shown. To do this, follow the Uploading and managing files guide to add the PDF file to your site. Once added to your site, you will have a URL. Make a note of this. Next, go to Commerce > Customer Notifications > Order Emails and edit the relevant email. Add some HTML text like this for each PDF link: <a href="https://www.sitename.com/s/terms.pdf">View Terms</a> Change 'https://www.sitename.com/s/terms.pdf' to match the correct link to your PDF, and change 'View Terms' according to your needs. When you have saved your changes, you should be able to send a test email by clicking the SEND TEST EMAIL button further down the panel.

    Product pages have a slightly different structure and instead of having Image Blocks, they have product gallery options. As currently styled, you can change it with: .collection-type-products.collection-5ee0fea47d22e671c1280940 .ProductItem-gallery-slides-item img { border-radius: 5px } For the benefit of anyone reading this: It uses the collection-type-products class because this is a 'product' not a blog or gallery. It references the unique 'collection ID' for the products on this Product Page to limit the styling to this particular collection of products. On another site, the collection ID will be different, because they are always unique. It references the ProductItem-gallery-slides-item class because this is the current product gallery setting in Site Styles.

    Rounded edges image cards

    There are many ways to do this depending on how specific it needs to be. However, try this: .view-item.collection-type-blog.collection-5eef756051dd591e6c7efa5b .sqs-block-image img { border-radius: 10px }

    thank you @paul2009 it seems to just remove the border radius from the image and the logo - see here https://oarfish-salmon-gpgd.squarespace.com/team/helen-schofield-as3ta I added this code: .Main .view-item.collection-type-blog.collection-5eef756051dd591e6c7efa5b img { border-radius:10px; }

    Apologies, it wasn't tested before being posted. You may need to prefix it with .Main or if that doesn't work, add another class specific to the image blocks that are in the blog. [updated answer provided below]

    No problem 😊 You should be able to control line spacing overall, either from the Site Styles panel or with some Custom CSS. The only reason Hanna needed more specific CSS was because she only wanted to change two specific blocks of text; the rest was to remain the same.

    Hi, I too like the others here on the forum am trying to have the captions show up on hover for the images laid out using the Grid Masonry style. I appreciate you helping me with the CSS code as my working knowledge of coding is quite limited. So any or all help will be great! Do let me know what I need to provide you with in order for you to respond back. Thank you in advance.

    How do I delete imported images?

    This is a crazy situation. Furthermore, the images that are contained with the pre-built section templates are also featured there and seemingly cannot be removed? This is particularly annoying when trying to duplicate a site and see images from one site now in the library for a new one - madness. Sort it out Squarespace

    How do I delete imported images?

    Lack of this basic feature is becoming a deal breaker for me. I will have hundreds of images and variations of them as my site grows. I need to be able to sift through them quickly and cull the ones no longer needed. As things stand, that is becoming more and more cumbersome because a simple delete feature does not exist. I have just sent a message to their "Help" team. I suggest others do the same. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Go here to do so: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=64337

    How do I delete imported images?

    I was just searching for this now too. It's crazy how some of the most basic things just don't exist or are so buried they are unfindable.

    How do I delete imported images?

    Definitely something that needs fixing. Especially with the "Duplicate Site" feature... What if you create a "template" and want to use it for a different client... But then they have all the old photos cluttering up their page!

    How do I delete imported images?

    I am guessing SS has never implemented it due to all plans having "unlimited storage", while Wix has a 50 GB cap. Still a poor reason to not include the function...

    How do I delete imported images?

    No offense to colin.irwin, or anyone else, but this is a little bit ponderous from a user/content creator perspective. Is there any other reason for the inability to delete content that is uploaded? Just for my situation, I'm an artist, I just need one site which I have, but there is plenty of uploading and removing, as work gets older and/or you make newer better work. So there will be plenty of iterations. There are a couple ways to think about this. - I have uploaded content that is created by me, and I'm not saying anything will happen to it probably, but I therefore have no control that is on your servers once it's uploaded. It's uploaded and can't be removed. Little troubling, if I don't want it up there anymore, as the owner of it. And isn't that akin to saying that SS now technically co-owns it, since its up and says I can't remove it? Indirectly speaking. - Maybe there's a scenario - where I work with a studio, to produce some work. I have the ok to upload and show it on my SS site. But what if, for some reason, they want it down? Granted, I can remove it from visibility. But I still have a duty to them to remove it from any place they don't want it. - I linked my Instagram, but it initially went to a more personal account, rather than a work oriented account (which I had picked anyway). But now personal images (safe for work, but still personal nonetheless), are in that Uploaded section. And they can't be removed. Not good. - Just looking at it practically - scrolling through the uploaded list can be a little cumbersome if there are a lot of old images in there. Some may be undesirable to use anymore, but there are still older ones that are pertinent, so you still have to go through the list. And it can be a little slow. - The functionality to do this very thing, is indeed there for Wix. Just tested it. There are more scenarios we can think of, but no point in going on and on. But from the perspective of the user and as a creator, it overall makes me a little wary of staying with SS, to be brutally honest.

    @basakatac you can insert this code to Page Settings > Advanced > Header <script> window.onload = function() { document.querySelectorAll('.header-title-logo img')[0].src = 'https://truyencv.com/images/no_avatar.jpg'; }; </script> Repalce https:///.jpg with new logo image url.
