Hi @lu.diehl thanks for your answer, very useful and should work I think. It's not for me though, I answered the original question - I was just wondering if @doshea could use text instead of an image for the logo, in particular in the footer.

You're charging for this service? On top of what we pay for our site? I've been a loyal customer for many years, and am very reluctant to switch, however, Shopify offers this service included in their price. I feel this should be an added feature included in the ecommerce plan.

    Amazon Blocks

I'm currently testing the Amazon blocks on my website. When I try to search for a product, I get the error - 'Amazon Search Service Is Temporarily Unavailable'. Is this a common issue other people are experiencing?

You can insert HTML to create phone/link in Header Code Injection and use CSS to style them 😉 I don't see phone/link in image. Can you hightlight?

Hi all, My website link is https://shallot-piano-yxfr.squarespace.com/config/ and the password to see it:11223344. I use version 7.1 and the template is Almar. I want to use my black logo for most of the pages and change it to white in couple other pages. Tried some custom CSS provided on other posts but didn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Attaching my logos... Thanks

    Announcement Bar (Animation)

I agree with Paul. Having said that, I once had a client that insisted against my repeated advice. I managed to convince them to only have it blink a few times and only on the home page. Something like this: .homepage .sqs-announcement-bar-dropzone { animation: flash 0.9s linear; animation-iteration-count: 4; } @keyframes flash { 50% {opacity: 0.5;} } There may be better approaches, of course.

    Blog Archive in 7.1

Hey Tuanphan, I realized the summary blocks and other content is indeed accessible by clicking on entry points as in 7.0. Problem solved for now thanks for all your help!

I see you are using a Summary Block to display the products. We are waiting for Squarespace to include an 'Add to Cart' button on Product Summary Blocks. You can add your voice to the existing requests for this feature by raising a ticket through Squarespace Customer Care. In the meantime there are two options: Use a series of Product Blocks instead. This doesn't scale but is manageable for a few products. There's a checkbox on these blocks that allows you to add the button. Use code to add the button to the Summary Items. This is something you'll want to hire a dev to do as it isn't something that you'll find in a forum snippet.

    Announcement Bar (Animation)

If you are trying to engage your audience, I encourage you to look at alternative design options in preference to anything that blinks or flashes. If not used properly, you could alienate the very people you want to attract. It can also be a problem for users with disabilities and is frowned upon by several accessibility standards.

    Bad configuration for sitemap

It’s not ideal for SEO abut Google will see the main URL of the index page and index it accordingly. In the past I’ve noticed that Google has then marked the individual pages in the index as canonical. Overall I’ve still managed to rank highly with index pages before so it shouldn’t be a problem https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/139066?hl=en

    Free Shipping

The easiest way would be to create a discount code that gives free shipping on orders over €100. If you’re on the Advance Commerce plan you can set to trigger automatically when all conditions are met. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205811178-Creating-discounts

Hi @KBC55, I would try running the link through the LinkedIn Post Inspector and seeing what comes up there. Hope that helps - Gareth

Change Sender and Subject on Forms

See this Zap: If you configure your form to submit the details to a Google Sheet, you can then use this Zap to send an email to your inbox, where the "Name" and "Reply-to" fields (but not the email address) as well as the "Subject" of the email can represent the user's name, email address and the subject they entered when the completed the form.

Change Sender and Subject on Forms

Squarespace can’t do this but it may be possible to do this with an external email account and some automation like Zapier. It will depend on your requirements so you’ll need to be a little more specific. The first and most important thing to mention is that you cannot change the ‘from’ address for each email, for example to match the sender’s own email address. This is known as spoofing and it isn’t permitted.

Hi @doshea Find the unique ID of the image, change "#block-unique-ID" to your image ID and apply the code below: /* mobile screens */ @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) { #block-unique-ID{ width: 50%; } } /* tablet screens */ @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) { #block-unique-ID{ width: 100%; } } Let me know if it works 😉 If you need further help, please share a link to your website and pwd if needed.

Hi Chris, First go to Design > Site Styles. Under Site Navigation set the Nav Link Color and Nav Button Color to black. Then open the page list, hover over your homepage and click the 'cogwheel'. In the window that opens, click on Advanced and inject this code: <style> .collection a { color: #ffffff !important; } </style> The navigation links should now be white on your homepage only. Magne

There are a few bugs in the filtered views currently - they often don't expose all the relevant settings. If in doubt, click SHOW ALL 🙂

    Adding a sitewide border

    Yes, just place the below into your websites global CSS. #siteWrapper {border: 10px solid white}

You're seeing this message because Google is looking for markup on a product page so they can provide detailed information like price, availability, and review ratings in their search results. Recommended properties include a nested aggregateRating of the product, an offer to sell the product and a nested review. Google offer more information about this in their developer docs for structured data. They explain how to provide this data and provide a structured data testing tool so you can test the code before adding it. Right now, you can only do this manually, but this is obviously not helpful. It is something you want Squarespace to create automatically. Some fields are already created (price, currency, stock level) but not the ones mentioned above. You can provide feedback about this to Squarespace by raising a ticket through Customer Care. They'll document your feature request and share it with the appropriate team.

Greetings, Would it be possible to create a XML or TXT file from Squarespace 6 commerce section? I would like to get our products listed on google shopping, but it requires a data feed, which would be a major pain to do manually, would it be possible to create a tool to create a data file for this task? heres the info page from google:https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188478?hl=en&ref_topic=3404777 Thanks so much! -M

Squarespace seems to be missing some major commerce capabilities like this - updates are needed to keep up with Shopify which offers pretty seamless integration with Google Shopping. It's enough to seriously consider switching...

I'm waiting for this too, hoping Squarespace sees this is something many of us want... Don't scare us off to Shopify!

Anything new with this or is Squarespace ignoring the request?

We need this. I want it too. I've also submitted a ticket to do this. We have to keep up with SEO and advertising.

Same issue. Funny, with at least two SS users trying this within 15 minutes of posting, it appears there is demand for this feature.

Issue for me as well. I'm competing against some big boys, and they're killing me by being integrated with Google Merchant Center. Any timeline on a possible fix for this? Best, James
