    Fullscreen Slideshow

    Hi @Henry_lmb. In some cases this can be accomplished via CSS alone, setting the width of the block based on the viewport width, allowing overflow of the parent and adding the text via pseudo-elements. A link to the page in question with the gallery on it (and the view-only password set via site-visibility, if necessary) would help others provide more specific code. -Brandon

    Remove "Back to" Link on Shop

    @ckritzelt that code for all products If you want 1 product, add Page ID to before, eg: body#collection-123456789 .show-product-item-nav #productWrapper #productNav {display: none;} See how to find Product Page ID.

    Calendar color customization

    @tuanphan Oh my ... ! Thanks a lot, it works perfectly ! I can't believe I spent hours trying to figure out/find the code. Have a great Sunday, you rock 👊 PS: Also agree, the gold color for desktop color is not an option. I prefer the focus to be on the drawing/images ! I am gonna monitor the website performance to see if those dark colours still works on visitors / clicking behaviours. Manon

    Are you referring to fully justified text? If so, I would warn you against using it. Justified text on screens reduces the ability of all people, but especially dyslexics and people using screens readers, to read and understand copy. There is a wealth of research to support this. https://accessible-digital-documents.com/blog/justified-text/ http://mediaaccess.org.au/accessibledocumentservice/2015/08/text-justification-is-a-key-accessibility-issue-in-documents/ https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20-TECHS/G169.html

    Instead of cluttering the top of every page with several contact links, it may be easier to provide a single link to a contact page using the standard announcement bar. On the contact page you can then provide attractive links to the different contact forms. To prevent the bar from being hidden by users you can hide the 'close' button. You can do this by adding some CSS to your site at Design > Custom CSS: .sqs-announcement-bar-close { display: none; } Alternatively, a developer could code an alternative custom announcement bar very easily for you.

    @Anthony_Richardson Try adding to Home > Design > Custom CSS .yui3-lightbox2 .sqs-lightbox-meta { display: none !important; }

    Squarespace and MySQL

    I used this approach on a recent project. We only needed to read the data - there was no writing back. Also, the data updates infrequently so the client set up a job on one of their servers to generate the data table on an hourly basis. The process from my side was: On first page load access the JSONP and parse it, merging with some config info on the Squarespace site, to create a lookup table that was saved to the user's browser as Session Storage On each subsequent page load check check if the Session Storage doesn't exist *and* whether a new version of the feed will have been created. If so, parse the JSONP again and create Session Storage NB. The Session Storage variable contained full html coding for the data table so that it can be pulled into the page and pasted as formatted html and/or filtered before insertion. If Session Storage exists read the content into variable and insert into page as formatted html Build a filtering interface that allows the end user to narrow down to the desired content. The decision to store in Session Storage was made because we know the data only updates once an hour, so we need to grab it at the start of the session and also when a new feed becomes available. This vastly reduces the workload and improves response times after initial load and parse of the data.
